Perfection! - Incredible experience! As a bean-to-bar hobby chocolatier I learned a lot to improve in my chocolate and I am sure this would be a hit for anyone whether they have any experience with chocolate or none. We stopped at several very local food markets in the way to learn about buying crabs and vegetables from the people who harvest them, cooked together, toured the farm and had a fantastic time. All booked in less then 12 hours notice as well. Perfection!

Wonderful cocoa plantation tour & lunch - Three of us toured the cocoa plantation, it was great fun! So nice to get out of Guayaquil and see the surrounding area. We enjoyed seeing and tasting all the fruits on the plantation and seeing the cocoa beans from being fruit on the trees to being fermented and processed. We got to hand roast and process some ourselves all the way to making some delicious chocolates filled with fruit paste. We also enjoyed a delicious Ecuadorian lunch with the owner and her young cousin. It was delicious. Followed by chocolate ice cream, of course made on the plantation. She also gave us a tour of her house. It was a great tour and a wonderful way to see life outside the usual tourist parts of the city!

Fun educational cocoa farm tour - We had an excellent time with Yamil and Simon. Transportation was easy and convenient with pickup at the hotel. We had an amazing time learning how to cook traditional Ecuadorian Chicken stew using locally grown traditional ingredients. It was crab season, we also got to try the local red crabs as a bonus. The cocoa farm plantation was fun and educational. We even got to meet the owners of the plantation, and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The best part was trying the different fruits and cocoa pods! We came back with many gifts for friends and family and many fond memories. I highly recommend this tour and would gladly go on another tour with Simon and Yamil!
