This riverside location is ideal for Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing. Visitors can breathe in the fresh air, listen to the soothing sounds of the water, and gaze at the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves and branches. There’s no need for sightseeing, allowing for a truly relaxing experience.
Following the rest stop, the tour continues up to the opposite riverbank. The entire walk covers approximately 3 kilometers and takes about 1.5 hours, including the break. The tour concludes with afternoon tea at a dessert shop with over a century of history in crafting Japanese confections. Guests can enjoy conversations with the owner and savor the delightful snacks he prepares.
