Excellent day trip with a great guide - Becca is an outstanding guide who made the tour very enriching. She drove with care, ensured all participants were comfortable, and shared a wealth of information about the local flora and fauna, some history of Whitehorse, the building of the Alaskan highway, remarkable features about Kluane National Park, and insights into the Yukon and Alaska generally. What a bonus it was to have sunny and warm weather that day. Although windy in some parts, it did not distract from the awe and joy I felt that day. During the tour, we saw black bears, ground squirrels, and watched a group of four mountain goats traveling high above us on a mountainside. We were given just the right amount of breaks/free time, and a chance to eat some delicious comfort food at a deli and bakery in Haines Junction. As the group exchanged stories about travel and adventures in the outdoors, it was clear that Becca’s knowledge and experience added so much to the tour. From the beginning of the day to its conclusion, she set the tone for an outstanding day. I am grateful for the experience.

Great day trip - This was a great day trip. Guide was knowledgeable. Group was small, we were not limited by time and we were offered some extras to experience the Yukon even more. On the old Alaska highway we saw bison, brown bear and grizzly bear.

Winter Day trip to Kluane National Park - First off, Epic North Adventures is a tour group that cares about the safety of its clients. The first example is by delaying the tour to start slightly later due to the longer winter night and shorter daylight. It sounds simple but it is actually worth noting the experience of the tour company. Our guide Yu, is from Japan and has stayed in Yukon for almost a decade and has a vast amount of knowledge and history about the culture and wildlife of Yukon. Hence, my family and I had an incredible tour. I highly recommend those visiting Yukon to check them out!

Whitehorse Area Experience with Epic North - We spent 3 days with Yu exploring Whitehorse and area. Did 3 tours. The above, Skagway and Yukon Gold. The scenery was spectacular! Yu stopped at all the best spots as well as whenever something caught our eye. He was very well informed and provided us with both history and stories of the area. Had an amazing trip!! Hundreds of amazing pictures. Our first trip to the Yukon…Thank you Yu, we will be back!!

Excellent - Yuya is a nice, respectful, and helpful guide who took care us carefully. He picked me up on time and gave some information in advance. He drove safety and comfortably. Also, he introduced the traditional culture about First Nation and railway lines etc.

Average experience. - Kluane National Park day trip. Wonderful scenery. Good to see the roughness of the Alaska highway again. I was upset that the company charged a surcharge for use of my credit card. No other tour company in the Yukon did that. The snacks provided were minimal. The tour was a bit over priced. The Klondike Experience out of Dawson City provided a wonderful day trip for less cost and lunch provided. Their tour guild was young and enthusiastic.

Mixed feelings! - Yu, from Epic North, picked us up exactly on time at our hotel and was a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide, but everything we did you could do on your own at no cost. The snacks were small chocolate bars, a few granola bars and water, which were fine, but we were expecting more than that. The description of the tour includes pictures of the glaciers but nowhere does it mention that these views can only be seen if you take the flightseeing tour, which is optional. There is no other information about the flight (such as the price) so it’s understandable that we thought ‘optional’ meant that it was optional for you to go on the flight part of the tour. We were surprised to receive a notification the afternoon before the tour saying that we needed to let them know if we were taking the flight and that it was an additional $300 each! We decided to do it anyway and we are very happy we did! It was a beautiful day, and the views of the mountains and glaciers were spectacular! We highly recommend it! You can book this yourself without having to be part of the Viator tour, for the same price. Daniel, from Rocking Star Adventures in Burwash Landing, was our tour guide and he was great! So it was a pleasant day, with some lovely scenery, the hilite being the flightseeing tour. We didn’t see any wildlife all day but that was just unlucky! However, the tour description is misleading/incomplete. If there is an optional excursion, it should be very clear that there is an additional price which should be stated in the description, and that the views of the mountains and glaciers portrayed in the pictures can be seen only if you go on the flight. We have booked quite a few tours with Viator over the years, and they have always been very good and always exactly as described. The flightseeing tour was exceptional but the ‘land’ tour was somewhat disappointing and overpriced for what was delivered.

Don't Trust Epic North!!! - I booked multiple tours with Epic North in early June for a late August trip to the Yukon. They cancelled all three trips shortly before my trip due to low numbers. I had to scramble to find another company to save my trip. Truly a disgraceful way to run a business. Huge thumbs 👎👎👎
