Arrival - Arusha

Arusha Region - Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Arusha for an overnight stay. Spend the day at your leisure. On the way from the airport, if the weather is clear, you will have the opportunity to see Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up to begin your journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. At the entrance gate, you will be warmly welcomed by large troops of baboons. The park is home to nearly 300 elephants, as well as other wildlife such as lions, leopards, African cape buffalo, giraffes, gazelles, waterbucks, warthogs, hippos, and wildebeests. After a full day of game drives, you will be driven to a lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Karatu – Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, your driver will pick you up for a trip to Serengeti National Park, with game viewing along the way. You will explore the beauty of the Serengeti and spot various wildlife including lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, and African cape buffalo. The game drive will continue until late afternoon, after which you will be transferred to your camp for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, you will embark on an early morning game drive to spot predators in action and continue discovering more wildlife and the diverse landscapes of the Serengeti. You may see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions. Lunch will be a memorable experience enjoyed in the middle of the bush. After the game drive, you will return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, you will visit Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most stunning natural sights, known for its extraordinary wildlife. From above, watch the morning mist roll over the crater rim, and explore the crater floor, home to lions, hyenas, elephants, black rhinos, flamingos, and golden jackals. The area also features forests, hippo-filled lakes, a salt pan, and hyena dens. You will have lunch at a picnic area inside the park while enjoying the magnificent view of the Ngorongoro landscape. Later, your driver will take you to Karatu for dinner and accommodations.

Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour - Zanzibar

Mto wa Mbu - Visit Mto wa Mbu village on foot for a rich cultural experience with an experienced, English-speaking guide who grew up in the village. Explore local farms, food markets, rice paddies, a Banana Beer Bar, and other local activities. After enjoying a local lunch, you will drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure will end. Your guide will then drive you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Zanzibar.

Zanzibar (Jozani Forest, Kuza Caves, and Dolphin Tour)

Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park - Visit Jozani Forest to see red colobus monkeys and join a park ranger for a guided nature tour. Learn about Zanzibar’s unique wildlife, follow a boardwalk through a mangrove swamp, and walk among towering eucalyptus and mahogany trees that provide habitat for native birds.

Fins Zanzibar Dolphins Tours - Combine three of Zanzibar’s top outdoor adventures into one private tour. Head to the island’s northeastern waters to watch dolphins in their natural habitat, then snorkel at Mnemba Island Reef, where you can see angel fish, rays, and other tropical species.

Kuza Cave - End the day with a visit to Kuza Cave, an ancient limestone jungle cave with crystal-clear turquoise water. Swim in the healing fresh water, enjoy the peaceful jungle, and see artifacts from the cave along with a timeline of Swahili history.

Zanzibar (Nungwi Aquarium, Spice Tour & Stone Town Tour)

Tangawizi Spice Farm - Discover why Zanzibar is known as the “Spice Island” with a visit to a spice plantation. Touch, feel, and taste exotic spices like cinnamon, clove, vanilla, and nutmeg. Learn about their healing properties and shop for local products if interested.

Nungwi Natural Aquarium - Visit Nungwi Aquarium to experience swimming with turtles.

Stone Town - After visiting Nungwi Aquarium, continue to explore Zanzibar’s aromatic history on a half-day walking tour of Stone Town. Discover its narrow, car-free streets and atmospheric corners. Highlights include colonial landmarks, the Old Fort, the house where Freddie Mercury was born, and an Anglican Cathedral on the former site of a slave market.
