Exhilarating, fascinating and enlightening - This tour is led by such a knowledgeable and exciting local guide. Ash went out of his way to give us the best experience he could. Fantastic!

A Superb Trip - This tour was amazing! In spite of a weather forecast of bad weather, the Coromandel really turned on the good weather for us. Ash has lots of experience on the water and was a superb captain and host. He was able to tell us a lot about the history of the region from pre-colonial times. The caves we got to visit were just out of this world. I don't think you can really get a sense of the majesty and diversity of the region without seeing it this way. It was also the only tour boat we saw that didn't have a canopy so we could get amazing pics looking upwards from inside some of the caves. Magical!

10/10 experience - Amazing day on the water with Shona and Ash. Got to snorkel with massive schools of Kahawai and followed dolphins around a baitball for ages. Got to see baby dolphins breaching. Shona and Ash are so informative and such chill people. Awesome experience and highly recommend to anyone!

Wedding Anniversary Treat - Must do adventure, Ash was so knowledgeable of both Maori and European history we learnt so much about the Coromandel not to mention the amazing views, this boat goes inside the caves and you see so much more. We will be back next year to see the northern end of the coast which we are very excited about. Awesome adventure! A must try. - We may not able to access the Cathedral Cove, but we are so glad that we booked Sea Cave Adventure that we were able to see it and explored the other beautiful caves and islands around Coromandel Peninsula. It's totally fun and worth it, a must try adventure. Ash, your the best!

A fabulous afternoon on the coast! - We booked this tour after a google search and what I loved about their website was that it showed how many seats were available on each boat! We were fortunate to have Ash as our captain who was super chill and so passionate about his Māori heritage and the beauty of the Coromandel peninsula. With their special boats, we were able to go into SO many caves and see all the rock formations on the coast. It was the most lovely afternoon and our captain was eager to take pictures for us when we needed! I would highly recommend Sea Cave Adventures for a tour of the coast! So much fun!

Amazing experience with an excellent guide! - We had such a blast on this tour! We did the Orua Sea Cave tour with D as our guide, and he was such a genuine, friendly, and knowledgable person to have on board. Chatted with us a bunch and made sure we were all happy and comfortable, told us all about the area we were in, pointed out the best spots to get good photos, and was always thinking on the fly about what was going to get us the best journey. We stumbled across a Little Penguin in the water at one point, and he quickly rerouted to get us a good look; the water was super clear that day, so he got us some good opportunities to see the fish below us; and on the way back it was insanely windy, so he even took the time/effort to pull into more sheltered areas along the way to give us a chance to warm up between cold bursts. The amount of effort and energy he put into giving us a good experience was just amazing, and we can't thank you all enough for making it happen!

Not reliable at all ! - If I could leave a -5 stars comment, I would. I booked the tour through Bookme and the weather conditions were perfect so I have really excited about it. I initially booked at 2 pm and the guy called me the day before to swipe with a 12:30 tour which was ok but asked some organization as I was one hour south. I went there 30 mn before the tour telling him how excited about it I was and we chatted, then I left to get changed and ready for the tour. When I came back, he told me there is only 2 persons who booked the tour (and she booked like 2 hours before the tour). He said he couldn't give us the tour if we didn't pay extra (30$ for her, 60$ for me). The tour was 88$ on Bookme so it was becoming very expensive. The guy and his colleague were not quite understanding the situation and the only solution they found was to go on another tour but again we had to pay extra... Luckily the owner of the other company made it simpler and saved the day saying we could get on board for the price we paid initially. Run away from them, they aren't reliable at all !!

Unprofessional, cancelled at time trip due to start - Very unprofessional. Booked this morning, after two emails with the company this morning. Arrived to be told that myself and one other were the only bookings so we would have to pay extra for a personalized tour. There had not been any mention of this possibility earlier In the day, and the other person had spoken with the crew only half an hour prior and also not been warned. As we refused to pay, they ended up getting us on a different boat, who were awesome so it probably ended up for the best, but extremely disappointed with the approach taken by Sea Cave operators. Owners also left it for the crew to deal with the situation, rather than fronting up themselves, despite being available for several phone calls from their team.
