A absolute ‘must do’ experience! - Great experience! Exploring the surrounding shoreline was sensational from the water. The guides were very informative and truly added to the experience with their local knowledge. The water craft was a brilliant boat to explore in, very safety conscious professional operators who just made it an experience to remember. Loved it! Definitely a ‘must do’!

‘Must do’ trip for all lovers of an unspoilt planet - On this trip tou can really appreciate the volcanic coastline which is presented so beautifully as a result of the conservation zone and very responsible tourism. The Hahei Explorer team are clearly part of this first rate experience with vasts amount of knowledge and professionalism - guide/driver Chris was great. A ‘must do’ if you are in the Coromandel Peninsula

Totally worth it! - Experiencing the coastline from the water through the eyes of local Tom was a memorable experience. The authentic combination of his love for his home and his knowledge about local wildlife, the geology, history and stories of the first nations related to the place made it our favourite holiday experience. Plus the boat was a lot of fun. Everyone from the Hahei explorer was friendly, helpful and super chill about me being plus size, the life jackets fit no worries if you're wondering chubby friends :)

A must do. - Really amazing informative but not too much information. Beautiful scenery and wildlife, sadly no dolphins or Orca today but that is no one’s fault. Very cheerful knowledgable and punctual crew with friendly dog.

Worth getting a little wet, one of a kind experience - Small boat, only 10 or so people, which lets you get up close to the shore and into some of the caves. Excellent skipper who had lots of great local stories and managed to keep us mostly dry on a somewhat rainy spring day. Paired this tour with a trip to Hot Water Beach after to warm up. Highly recommend.

Amazing morning - do it! - Fantastic morning out in the boat. Our skipper was great fun and knowledgable and we loved being able to experience the caves, cliffs and wildlife on the Coromandel Coast. Being in a small boat with only 6 others was perfect - allowed us to get in close compared with some of the larger boats. Cathedral Cove gets the praise but going in a small boat at high tide allowed us to see the Blowhole - really special, many thanks!
