Hahei Explorer Cathedral Cove Boat Tour
Wigmore Crescent
Check in for the tour is 20 minutes prior to your departure time at the south end of Hahei Beach. Park at the free day parking area on the grass down Wigmore Crescent, from here walk to the end of Wigmore Crescent (2 mins) and down the beach access-way. Look out for our white gazebo.

Epic Boat Tour to Cathedral Cove - Hahei Explorer provides an amazing boat tour of the Hahei coast as well as the famous Cathedral Cove! The operators were fantastic, taking us into caves and showing us the oceanic wild life. They were exceptionally well informed and provided interesting and fun facts! The boat itself was an experience as it was a floatable that took 10 people and had sea legs. The whole family loved this boy tour and haven’t stopped talking about what an amazing experience it was! When in Hahei, the Hahei Explorer boat tour is an absolute must do!!!

A must do from Hahei - Would highly recommend, saw so much of this beautiful coastline and inside sea caves. Our knowledgeable captain explained the geography and history of the area.

Great way to see coast - Our pre booked trip from Whitianga was cancelled the night before due to bad weather forecast. When it was OK in the morning we were able to take this trip from Hahei at an earlier time. It was a bit windy but fine and we saw so many fascinating rock formations as well as Cathedral Cove. So glad we could do it.

Great tour ....well worth to Take - Even though the path to Cathedral Rock had re-opened the day before and people were finally able to walk to the Rock, this boat tour covered a lot of the area, you cannot see on foot. We did Cathedral Rock….but the sea caves we went through and into were even more interesting and fun. The ‘Captain’ gave good information on what we were seeing and the history. We would recommend doing this tour….if you like to have fun and see interesting places.

Best boat cruise ! - Ella was our skipper she was very knowledgable and we had a great experience on the boat with her. Andy was also very lovely ! Overall very happy with the experience and was such beautiful scenery.
