Awesome trip - Absolutely awesome! Highly recommend, we were the only two on our boat trip being that it was in May when tourist season had quietened down. Was a perfectly sunny day and Scott was fantastic and very informative! Do it!!

Beautiful boat ride - Beautiful time on the water. The boat has wheels so it picks you up on the beach. No struggling to get in the boat. Takes you around the cove and tells a lot about the history and the unique lava and ash formations. We got to see large red snapper. Friendly and helpful crew. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Highly recommend for all age groups.

Is not quite cheap, but worth it because of the beautiful views that can not be made so from the coast - Booking online two days in advance absolutely hassle-free, location easy to find. Were equipped with life jackets on site, everything we did not need on the boat tour (incl. our shoes, as you walk through the water to board) was safely taken into custody. Team on the beach and in the boat very nice and helpful. Boat tour (7 guests in total including us) was exciting and led to both Cathedral Grove and a host of other sights. On the way repeatedly stops with explanations, in total more than an hour on the way partly far from the coast. Amusing tour in the nicest weather.

A perfect trip! - Absolutely amazing! Scenery was gorgeous! We loved being on a small boat that could go into some of the caves. The water was so clear we could see tons of fish. And we even got to see a seal napping in the sun. Knowledgeable guide and great people! Would have loved to be out even longer!

Fun and informative trip - We booked this trip mainly for wildlife. There were 8 passengers and a skipper. Fast rib boat, which got us out to sea swiftly. Saw White-fronted Terns; Gannets and a Fur Seal; Our skipper pointed out unusual rock formations - some of which she took the boat into and we visited Cathedral Cove. Our skipper was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we had a great time.

Absolutely awesome - Such a fun experience that ticked all the boxes, stunning location, amazing to get up so close to the caves and rock formations. Our guide was informative and delivered us the true kiwi spirit. The inflatable boat was awesome and so fun to be on out on the sea, invigorating!

I would go again - Wonderfully arranged and organised tour only down side is when you have to many people in it gets hard to take photos when you have people's hands pointing everywhere. Also a bit squashy if you have to sit 4 across.

Disappointing - It was disappointing. We were sailing on the water. There was some information. We didn't go into a cave. There were two seals further away, but we didn't pull over there either. I would have preferred to spend the money on another activity.
