Nice cruise - A nice cruise on the canals of Haarlem. There is a French audio guide (just tell the captain that you are French because it is not activated automatically). We see many historic buildings including the magnificent Catholic church off-centre of the historic district. We didn't see the time pass.

Blacksmith canal cruises an absolute must if you want to discover Haarlem - Fantastic boat and skipper. Good tour with good explanation what to see. I didn't like it that much this month.

MUST TO DO - What a captain, who took us through the canals of Haarlem. In a very playful way and sometimes with a hilarious wink, he told about the highlights of the various sights. The sun was shining and it was pleasantly busy on the water. The cruise should have taken much longer as far as we are concerned!!

Where's the Guide? - It was beautiful weather, so nice in the sun the cruise made in a full boat. In itself fine cruise, but playing a tape containing the description of Things to do in three languages is very unfortunate. Why not done by the skipper or assistant. That makes the trip so much better!!

Skip this - Pleasant tour of Haarlem canals with a not very informative recorded guide that didn't always seem to line up with our location. This is billed as a 50-minute tour, but it was only exactly 35 minutes long. Compared to other canal tours I have taken in the Netherlands, this was definitely the least satisfying.

Only the weather cooperated. - The audio was extremely difficult to hear, (only English and German ) why no Dutch, because the sound was so worthless and the Captain " Mike" also had very nice apparently " friends" on board, it was not clear to anyone on board what the highlights of Haarlem are, unfortunately missed opportunity not worth repeating at Smidtje. Fortunately the weather is beautiful! Maria de Boer
