Nestled at the base of Ha Giang’s towering, rugged mountains, the Nho Que River flows gently year-round, presenting a breathtaking natural landscape. Originating from the Nghiem Son Mountains in China at an altitude of over 1,500 meters, the river meanders northwest for 192 kilometers, with 46 kilometers in Vietnam.

The Nho Que River’s upper reaches in Vietnam begin from Seo Lung Village in Lung Cu Commune, passing through the Tu San Canyon in Meo Vac. Known as Southeast Asia’s deepest canyon, this gorge is celebrated as one of Vietnam’s most unique tectonic valleys. Its dramatic cliffs and serene beauty earned it recognition as a National Scenic Heritage Site in 2009.

Meo Vac - Pass through Meo Vac Town, a breathtaking destination renowned for its majestic landscapes, towering limestone cliffs, and rich ethnic cultures. Nestled in northern Vietnam’s rugged mountains, Meo Vac offers adventurous travelers a chance to explore its scenic beauty and immerse themselves in the vibrant local culture.

Quan Ba - Arrive in Quan Ba via a different route, stopping at various viewpoints to enjoy the scenery.
Enjoy lunch in Thai An.
After lunch, head back to Ha Giang City.
Visit a hidden waterfall on the way back, and if time permits and it’s summer, enjoy a swim.
