Great time on the Ha Giang Loop - Myself and my girlfriend took our trip in December with Ha Giang Road Trip and couldn't be any happier with the choice. The views and driving are incredible, with great homestays for the nights and so much good food throughout. And our guides Lemonthai and Huan took the trip to the next level! They were always giving us added details about the areas we were riding through and were great fun along the way. They stopped at the best viewpoints and places to eat and shared a few great happy waters in the evening! The whole road trip was a special experience and I couldn't recommend it more.

Trip of a Lifetime - I cannot speak highly enough of Ha Giang Road Trip and of the Ha Giang Loop itself. It was a wonderful experience. Our two guides, Hieu, who led our group, and Minh, my rider, were excellent. Hieu was full of energy and enthusiasm for the whole trip; particularly important on the first two days when it was cold and bit misty. Minh was a very safe, highly competent rider who put the needs of his client first, even looking after the small details like cleaning the visor on the helmet every morning. He was unnecessarily apologetic for not being able to speak English! The pre- tour logistics were good. We were picked up from a hotel in Ha Giang on the morning of trip and given the briefing. Our group was small: 4 of us which was perfect for managing the pace of the tour. If you haven’t yet decided whether to do the Loop, I highly recommend it. The scenery is simply breathtaking and the chance to see and experience how people live in the rural part of northern Vietnam was just fabulous. if you are planning to do it in winter, as we did, it may be mild in the valleys but it will be cold on the mountains. Take gloves, a snood and many layers. Our tour operator provided poncho style covers for our bodies, legs and feet which were necessary for the rain but we kept them on at times to reduce the wind chill. They really helped. We stayed in 2 homestays and one hotel. They were basic but clean and more than adequate. The food on the trip both at lunchtime and in the evening was very good; it exceeded our expectations. In summary, the trip itself was fabulous. Some of the scenery rivals anything we have seen anywhere in the world. And Ha Giang Road Trip were just perfect as our hosts and I would recommend them. You won’t go wrong.

11/10 must do tour - top 10 travel experiences - If you are looking for a unique tour that allows you to see all the main highlights PLUS get off the beaten track and see what the masses miss out on, this is the tour for you. Bear our lead guide/ rider and Baswe were attentive, considerate, funny, cheerful and very informative- nothing was too much trouble. We felt safe at all times including in bad weather and they drove to the conditions accordingly. Bears English is great as is his knowledge of history, the local areas and the ethnic groups in the region. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Vietnam and plentiful, the accomodation was private with own bathroom, and the home stays great and an opportunity to meet other travellers. The thing that sets this company apart is that it is small groups and you have the opportunity to get up into the mountains on smaller tracks away from the big groups- you will have experiences they miss out on. I’m in my 50s and travelled with my daughter so don’t think you can’t give this a go. The 4 day tour I would recommend 110%. Thanks Bear for the amazing experience! Will be back in a different season to experience that perspective.

A Must Do in Vietnam! - Although the weather wasn’t on our side, Bear and Baswe ensured we had an absolutely brilliant time! The views we had were amazing, the food was delicious and the drive itself was wonderful. A super safe and informative ride that allowed us to go off the beaten track and explore some hidden gems. Best Tours in Ha Giang - We had a fantastic time with Opi Adventures! In a group of 6 guests and 6 easy riders we were a great group. Everyone was always very anxious that we had a great time. Our drivers drive very safely and at a comfortable pace. A great insight into the remote places of the north. The food was amazing and the accommodations all wonderful. We recommend everyone to do the tour with Grandpa, who likes to be comfortable and like to travel in small groups.

Best experience in Vietnam! Handsdown! - This tour was without a doubt the best experience in Vietnam. It is truly difficult to put into words how incredible the guides, scenery, journey, and experience was in general. We did the four day three night tour, and personally I could have continued on for another three nights. Our guides were incredible. They were insightful, accommodating, so much so that they adapted our itinerary to suit our specific interest, for example, they went to multiple waterfalls because I love swimming. Two of which we had completely to ourselves. My advice, some of our group struggled with sitting on the bike for four days. This was not an issue for me, but I would recommend bringing a pair of bike shorts with padding to wear underneath your clothes. The more comfortable the better! Secondly, bring in ear headphones for under your helmet. Listening to music driving through the Vietnamese mountains is incredible. Book it now! The secret is out and it is only going to get busier.

Incredible Experience - Everything about the tour was amazing - especially the drivers and tour guide. Thuc was a safe and considerate driver, while also trying his best to make me feel comfortable, even though he didn't speak English. LemonThai was very knowledgeable, helpful, kind and funny. He went out of his way to help anyone with any needs. This was one of the best experiences of my life and I encourage anyone to try it. Choose the 4D3N option as the second last day was stunning!

Amazing tour - amazing crew - Amazing tour. Bear, Dũng and all the crew were professional, attentive and nice! They drove safely, and were great fun. The guesthouses and hotel were comfortable; the meals were tasty and they provided loads of food (and also cateted for vegetarians). We learned a lot about the different groups in the area and saw the most incredible scenery. Would definitely recommend.
