Humayun’s Tomb - Begin the day with a 9am pick-up to visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is the resting place of Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi. The tomb features an arched facade adorned with white marble and red sandstone, adhering to Islamic geometric principles, particularly the significance of the number eight.

Qutub Minar - Visit Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This impressive Afghan-style victory tower and minaret was constructed by Sultan Qutb-ud-din in 1193 to assert his dominance over the defeated Hindu rulers of Qila Rai Pithora.

Lotus Temple - Experience tranquility at Delhi’s stunning Lotus Temple, designed for peaceful worship. Shaped like a lotus flower, it features 27 delicate white-marble petals. The temple encourages unity among different faiths, inviting visitors to pray or meditate silently according to their beliefs.

India Gate - This grand 42-meter-high stone memorial arch, designed by Lutyens in 1921, honors approximately 90,000 Indian army soldiers who lost their lives in WWI, the Northwest Frontier operations, and the 1919 Anglo-Afghan War.

Parliament House - Explore this circular, colonnaded building, designed by Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, where the 1947 transfer of power from Britain to independent India occurred. It continues to serve as the meeting place for parliament.

Rashtrapati Bhavan - Rashtrapati Bhavan, or the President’s House, is the official residence of the President of India. Once home to the British Viceroy, it boasts 340 rooms and 2.5km of corridors, offering a fascinating glimpse inside.

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - Discover a serene oasis amidst Old Delhi’s chaos at the capital’s largest mosque, built on a 10-meter elevation. It accommodates an astounding 25,000 people. The marble and red-sandstone structure, also known as the ‘Friday Mosque,’ was Shah Jahan’s final architectural masterpiece, constructed between 1644 and 1658.

Chandni Chowk - Enjoy an exhilarating bicycle rickshaw ride (at your own expense) through the vibrant and colorful streets of Chandni Chowk (Silver Street).

Raj Ghat - Located on the banks of the Yamuna River, this peaceful, well-maintained park features a simple black-marble platform marking the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948.

Swaminarayan Akshardham - Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple (closed on Mondays) is Delhi’s largest temple, built in 2005, and is breathtakingly opulent. Artisans used ancient techniques to carve the pale red sandstone into intricate reliefs, including 20,000 deities, saints, and mythical creatures. The centerpiece is a 3-meter-high gold statue of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan, surrounded by more elaborate carvings.

Delhi - Agra (3-4 Hrs Drive) & Half Day Agra Sightseeing

Agra - After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour drive to Agra, the City of the Taj Mahal, passing through picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel.

Agra Fort - In the afternoon, visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historical fort along the Yamuna River in Agra was the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638 and is one of India’s finest Mughal forts. As you explore the courtyards of this palatial red-sandstone and marble fortress, you’ll be amazed by its grandeur.

Mehtab Bagh - In the evening, enjoy a photo tour of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh, the moonlit garden, believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan for viewing the Taj on moonlit nights, away from the crowds. The garden complex is located on the left bank of the Yamuna, opposite the Taj Mahal. It is a large square measuring approximately 300x300 meters, aligned with the Taj Mahal. The forestry plantations and agricultural fields provide a green forecourt to the Taj Mahal and its reflection in the Yamuna. Witness the sunset over the Taj Mahal here.

Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour & Drive Abhaneri (Chand Baori) - Jaipur (4-5 Hrs Drive)

Taj Mahal - Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and widely regarded as the most beautiful building in the world. Built by Shah Jahan as a memorial for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died giving birth to their 14th child in 1631, the Taj Mahal’s enchanting allure will undoubtedly be the highlight of your tour. Note that the Taj Mahal is closed to tourists every Friday, so if your scheduled visit falls on a Friday, you will visit the Taj Mahal at sunset the day before.

Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and drive to Jaipur, the Pink City.

Chand Baori (Step well) - On the way to Jaipur, visit Abhaneri, a small village known for its remarkable ‘Baoris’ (step wells) and Harshat Mata Temple. Chand Baori is one of Rajasthan’s most spectacular step wells, a unique invention by the locals for rainwater harvesting. It is one of India’s deepest and largest step wells, with intricate carvings that are a delight to behold.

Jaipur - After visiting Abhaneri, continue the drive to Jaipur, the Pink City. Upon arrival, check into the hotel.

Jaipur - Delhi Drop-off (4-5 Hrs Drive) Or Drop-off in Jaipur Itself

Amber Palace - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Amber Fort. This magnificent, imposing fort of Amber (pronounced ‘amer’) is a stunning example of Rajput architecture, rising from a rocky mountainside about 11km northeast of Jaipur. It is the city’s must-see attraction, featuring an extensive palace complex built from pale yellow and pink sandstone and white marble, divided into four main sections, each with its own courtyard.

Jal Mahal - Make a photo stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), beautifully situated in the watery expanse of Man Sagar, near the cenotaphs of the maharanis of Jaipur. Its origins are uncertain, but it is believed to have been extensively restored, if not built, by Jai Singh II in 1734.

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - Make a photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jaipur’s most iconic landmark. This extraordinary pink-painted, delicately honeycombed hive rises five stories high. It was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh to allow the ladies of the royal household to observe the city’s life and processions.

City Palace of Jaipur - The City Palace is the residence of the royal family, featuring a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. Some palace buildings date back to the early 20th century. It is a striking blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - Visit Jantar Mantar Observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is a collection of curving geometric structures carefully calibrated to monitor the movement of stars and planets.

New Delhi - Afterward, drive to Delhi / Gurugram / Noida (airport/hotel/any other desired location), which will take approximately 5 hours. Alternatively, if you wish to continue your journey to another destination in India, you can be dropped off at Jaipur airport, Jaipur railway station, or any other desired location in Jaipur.
