- Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - Meet your tour guide in the morning and transfer to Longji Rice Terraces, which takes approximately 3.5 hours from Yangshuo. Upon arrival, First check in hotel and Following lunch, (you will have the opportunity to taste local meal in a local family’s house) you will start your day of exploration by hiking up past layer upon layer of rice terraces, and enjoying the breathtaking views.
- Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge - morning, depart the Longji Rice Terraces and continue further North travelling towards Chengyang village. Upon arriving into Chengyang, visit the famous Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge, which is one of the most famous landmarks in Guangxi Province and an example of one of the many Dong ethnic minority bridges in the region. During the afternoon, explore the Chengyang Dong Ethnic Minority Villages as well as the hike up Chengyang Hill (if this is of interest) before being transferred back to Sanjiang. During the early evening, visit the Sanjiang Drum Tower.
- Zhaoxing DongZhai - After meeting in the morning, depart from Sanjiang and travel into Guizhou Province. Along the way, stopover at the Tang’an Dong Ethnic Minority Village which is a scenic little village located in the hills. Thereafter, either choose to hike down to Jitang Village followed or via vehicle to continue travelling towards Zhaoxing Dong Ethnic Minority Village. Enjoying the wonderful time.
- Congjiang County - In the morning, continue exploring Zhaoxing before departing and visiting Huanggang Dong Minority Village. This particular village is one of our favorite villagers in Guizhou Province as the village has been left largely untouched and offers not only spectacular scenery but also a true insight into locals’ lives away from the busier larger towns. Explore Huanggang and Bapa Villages during the morning. Thereafter, visit the Miao ethnic minority village of Basha. This village is particularly unique in the sense that it’s the largest village within China that’s permitted to have guns. Full of wooden houses and a nearby river, Basha introduces visitors to the traditional culture and is an interesting village, different from most within Guizhou Province. Over the recent years, it has become more popular with Chinese tour groups so please be aware of this. After visiting Basha, travel to Rongjiang.
- Kaili - In the Morning , departing from Rongjiang, you will travel from Rongjiang to Kaili along the S308 road. Along this road, you will pass through a large number of different ethnic minority villages, markets and other experiences of daily life in rural South-Western Guizhou Province. If you’re lucky, you might experience a festival! There are a number of Miao ethnic minority villages, (occasionally) festivals and other experiences along this road so you’re welcome to stopover at different markets, towns, villages, festivals (date dependent) and other places along the way. Stay overnight in Kaili and enjoy the night at leisure.
- Huangguoshu Water Falls - Huangguoshu Waterfall is located in the Anshun City of Guizhou Province in China. It is the largest and most famous waterfall in China, and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. The waterfall is 77.8 meters high and 101 meters wide, and the water flows down from a cliff in the shape of a horseshoe.The water falls with a thunderous roar, creating a magnificent and breathtaking scene.

Sanjiang, Huang guoshu waterfall - I recently visited Sanjiang waterfall and it was a delightful experience! The picturesque canal and charming wooden buildings create a serene atmosphere. The shop offers unique handcraft experiences that allow you to connect with local traditions. I loved exploring the vibrant fabrics hanging outside and the friendly ambiance of the area. The wooden bridge adds a lovely touch to the scenery. This hidden gem is perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in culture and creativity. Highly recommend visiting for a memorable day!

What an incredible tourist attraction it is I love Guizhou and hope to be back again..Will definitely recommend this place to my friends and coworkers

Horrible - This guy is a total scammer. I booked 7day private tour with him and contacted him before I arrive to China. We would visit minority villages and the price was 1000USD. I accepted the price because accomodation and food was included as he stated in his e-mail. Then, during the third day of our tour, he asked me to pay for my dinner and I said but it is included in the tour and he said no (even though he paid for it for 2 days). We were in the middle of nowhere in a village during New Year's Eve and he knew I had no other choice but to accept. He told me the food price is for the driver (he was the driver and the guide) so basically I would pay for his dinner and not mine with 1000USD price. I would also pay for his accomodation and my accomodation separately and it makes sense. However, we were discussing this over wechat, this is what he wrote me and I think all female travellers need to he aware of this:
"I have good ideas, maybe, we can 2 people share one double room, we can save money for lunch and dinner😁"
So basically he offered to share a room with me for the private tour. After this I felt totally uncomfortable and decided not to continue the tour. If you think that is enough, it is not. He kept it more challenging and unprofessional. He told me he would leave with his car in the morning as the driver and I had to figure out a way to go to airport by myself. I told him that my luggage is in his car and I cannot find a driver in the next morning of the new year in a remote village in China. Then, he asked for more money to drive me there!!! I was already scammed by paying him 1000USD without food. After an hour of discussion, he agreed to pay 700 USD back as we would not continue the tour after he asked to share the room. He transfered the money to Alipay and for international card users, this money cannot be cashed out. I explained him the situation and he basically told me buy food and things with scanning instead of giving it directly. I then told him 700 USD is too much to use for online payment as they do it in China because I would be leaving in 4 days and I need the money in my bank not in Alipay (only used in China). It took another hour of struggle to get him pay me back my money. It was like hell!! oh and he is not even a guide. We would go to the villages around 12.00, check in and he would write me to meet at 17.00. So basically it was all dark and I would be walking around on my own for 5 hours. I was lucky enough that there were some Chinese girls who would take me around the Dong village and introduce their culture. Overall, it was a horrible experience!
