The tour begins in the Historic Park, which houses wildlife and preserves the architectural history of the city. Then, we will visit the neighborhood of Las Peñas, with its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. The climb to Cerro Santa Ana offers a breathtaking panoramic view. In addition, a visit to the Cacao Museum provides a fascinating insight into the agricultural tradition and development of cacao in the region. Seeing the chocolate making process at the Cacao Factory is educational and delicious. We will finish with an Ecuadorian cooking class, preparing traditional dishes, especially based on seafood, tasting desserts and artisanal chocolate. We will cook chicken with cocoa, a homemade recipe that will allow you to better understand the local gastronomy and the uses of cocoa.The objective is to appreciate the cultural and culinary diversity of Ecuador.
