Pick-up is scheduled for 8:30 AM. Near Guayaquil, the tour will visit the Manglares Churute Ecological Reserve. This mangrove area is recognized as a Ramsar site of significance, situated in the Naranjal canton, Guayas province, 40 kilometers from Guayaquil.
It is a key location in the reserve due to the abundance of freshwater birds residing there. In addition to birdwatching, visitors will have the opportunity to see howler monkeys in their natural habitat. A 40-minute walk through the tropical dry forest will be taken to observe them. Additionally, there will be insights into how local residents catch crabs and transport them to the city market. After exploring Manglares Churute, the tour will proceed to a cacao plantation where participants will learn about cacao cultivation and the chocolate-making process. At the end of the tour, everyone will have the chance to create their own chocolate bar. The service concludes with a return to Guayaquil.
