We will journey to the Churute Ecological Reserve for a canoe excursion to observe the local plant and animal life. Following that, we’ll proceed to the trail of the howler monkeys for a brief hike to spot the resident primates.
Post hike, we’ll visit the Cacao y Mango farm for a lunch break and a chocolate production demonstration.
The Churute Mangroves are a unique area where three distinct ecosystems merge in a compact area. Notably, the red mangrove stands out, with its roots stretching out as if they’re moving through the waterways, earning it the nickname ‘walking mangrove’ from the locals.
