Excellent walk! Beautiful places - The walk to the lake was beautiful, very interesting to know the Maya villages, in a picturesque setting. Everything went as planned, with a lot of organization and punctuality. Our guides Marlon and Nicolas were excellent, telling us interesting and curious facts about Guatemala.

Lake Atitlan boat tour - The shuttle picked us up right on time at our Airbnb in Antigua. The driver was very nice and helpful. We stopped for breakfast along the way and it was delicious. Our boat guide was informative and fun to talk to. We enjoyed seeing the local villages and learning more about the history. We had 8 people traveling ranging in age from 8 years old to 73. Everyone enjoyed the tour.

Joel - the best guide to lake Atitlan! - Every tour we took in Guatemala was unique and interesting and all our guides were excellent, but this tour really stood out because of the guide, Joel. Joel is full Mayan and very proud of his culture He is also a unique and independent person. He is very much a self-made man. I found him to be very interesting. His hobby is climbing volcanoes and he was a top goal scorer for the local football team. I think one day he will be the Maya mayor of Santiago de Atitlan. in addition to the usual things like crossing the lake to see San Juan, San Pedro and Santiago we got to see some of the hidden sites that many tourists might not see such as riding in a tuktuk to the best view points in the island in the area, meeting Maximon (a Maya deity who likes to smoke and drink!) And learning so much about Mayan culture and in particular the ways of the different mayan cities around Lake Atitlan . I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. If I could only pick one tour on my trip, this would be it. Be sure you ask for Joel!!!

Informative, efficient and fun. - The drive from Antigua was longer than expected (2.5 hours) and the food was not very good (the restaurants were beautiful with a fantastic atmosphere) but it was an incredible experience overall. Our driver was focused and I felt safe the entire way. Many friends had warned us of car sickness to their lake tours and we felt fine. Once we arrived to the lake we had the most amazing tour guide, Roberto, who spoke 3 languages beautifully and enabled us to see so much in one day I still can’t believe it. There were zero communication issues or delays. We chose to let the kids swim in the lake instead of a third village and it was perfectly what they needed to keep it together and behave the whole day, lol. Beach was dirty with trash and I wouldn’t have gone in myself but walking in the water was a wonderful opportunity to cool off. Tours of chocolate, honey, and weaving were fun, informative and interactive. The kids loved the weaving the most and the chocolate lip balm was a perfect souvenir for our kids friends. Chocolate was absolutely delicious, we purchased a few bars to snack on. We received a custom private experience which was very thoughtfully planned. Would definitely recommend.

Great Guatemalean tour! - Great tour! The driver, Marlo, was excellent! He pick us up, on time, at the Hotel and provide us a lot of information about the places we ŵre going thru. Besides being very courteous and respectful, he is extremely knowledgable of the country and gave us a great overview of Guatemalean history; we consider him a very knowledgable tour guide. Roberto, our tour guide to the 3 Atitlán towns was knowledgable and attentive. The Atitlán Lake is beautiful and the 3 towns very colorful and full of Mayan history. We like San Juan, the best. The boat trip was fun! I highly recommend this tour and the native company who offered it. Thanks a lot to all!

Very pleasant tour. - Marlon was our driver and he was excellent. The van was nice and comfortable. The road to Lake Atlitán was good. If you want a really good traditional breakfast ask for the restaurant Chichoy. The lake is beautiful. The boat is not fancy and the water can be rough. The towns around the lake are nice. Overall, we recommend the tour.

Great experience. Osman... - Great experience. Osman was our driver, he picked us up perfectly on time, drove very safely, and his vehicle was clean and comfortable. He took us to CHICHOY for breakfast, which was delicious. Roberto was our guide, he did a great job showing us around. The place he took us for lunch was just OK. The boat ride was fun, however, the waters do get quite choppy in the afternoon.

One of the best tours we've ever taken! - On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd have to give this tour an 11. What a wonderful day spent exploring Lake Atitlan and the surrounding villages. From pick up our driver Marlon displayed excellent customer service and we engaged in great conversation. He was also very punctual which we appreciated! We enjoyed the fact that we got to have a wonderful breakfast before beginning the tour. Our tour guide Roberto was excellent and taught us so much about the history of Lake Atitlan and the surrounding villages! He also took us to a lot of local shops where we also had the opportunity to purchase items and ended the day with a wonderful lunch! We would absolute highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Guatemala.
