Wonderful, informative and engaging - Tio Leo was incredibly informative and entertaining. He kept my 11 year old engaged and involved. His wife was very kind. She gave my son free homemade ice cream because he was so interested in it all.

Exceptional Pura Vida experience - Friends and I booked this tour on a whim 30 minutes before it started to just kill time. It was the highlight of our vacation. We spent 4 hours learning about coffee, chocolate, sugar, culture, climate and more. Tio Leo is super knowledgeable. He and his staff were fun and the most gracious hosts. We learned so much and had a fabulous time. It was truly a wonderful experience.

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE - When we drove up to this small, simple unassuming location I didn't think much. I WAS WRONG. This was a cross between an educational documentary, entertainment show, cooking class, beauty tips and naturalist healing. Honestly need to change some of my life choices after the education I received. This tour was OUTSTANDING. Make sure you have appetite. Book this tour.

Amazing trip- learned and EXPERIENCED so much! - This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We were able to learn about the Costa Rican fruit, cocoa, sugar cane, and coffee agriculture. We learned how to cook empanadas. We tasted coffee, cocoa with milk, hot cacao. We even used the cacao to exfoliate our hands and arms. We used a sugar cane press and tasted its juice. We also took a tour through the groves of different fruit trees. It was an amazing learning experience!

Absolutely Amazing!!! - 90% of these tours are nowhere close to Del Coco. Asked Google Gemini to find me something near where we were staying because my 78 year old father is not going to be able to do a 2 hr trip South for a 4 hr tour and another 2hr drive back... found 2 places, this was 1. You can save some money by buying directly on their website, but they have a max of 4 tix / sale and we needed 5 tix. Tour was amazing, VERY FRIENDLY people. Family owned local tour. Very well done. Lots of great information culturally and historically. My nephews 13 & 16 actually seemed to have fun as well.
