• Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King - At 8:30 AM or 1:30 PM, your guide will pick you up from your centrally located Guangzhou hotel to begin the tour. Your first stop will be the Museum of the Tomb of the Nanyue King from the Western Han Period. Here, you’ll enter the original tomb, discovered in 1983 during hotel construction. This tomb highlights Guangzhou’s extensive history, dating back 2,200 years. The museum also features an exhibition hall showcasing various relics unearthed from the tomb and around Guangzhou.
• Chen Clan Ancestral Hall-Folk Craft Museum - Next, you’ll take the metro to the Chen Clan Academy, also known as the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. Built in 1894 during the Qing Dynasty by 72 Chen clans for their juniors’ lodging and exam preparation, this academic temple is a prime example of traditional Cantonese architecture. The complex is renowned for its intricate decorations, including wood, stone, and brick carvings, as well as pottery, plaster, and iron engravings, adorning both the interior and exterior of the halls.
• Shamian Island - Afterwards, you’ll take the metro to Shamian Island, where you can stroll through an area characterized by European architectural styles, a remnant of its time as a British and French colony 100 years ago. You’ll also enjoy views of the White Swan Pool along the Pearl River from the island’s waterfront.
• Yong Qing Fang - Yong Qing Fang, a famous historic community in Guangzhou, is an excellent place to explore old buildings and museums. The tour concludes at either Yong Qing Fang or Shamian Island. This enjoyable half-day trip ends at Shamian Island, where you can take a taxi or metro back to your hotel.

Note: Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King closes on Mondays, Academy of Clan Chen closes on Tuesday, we will arrange to visit YongQingFang instead of when it is closed.
