• Yuexiu Park - At 9:30 am, the group will gather outside Exit B1 of Yuexiu Park station on Metro Line 2 in Guangzhou. The exploration of Guangzhou will begin with a local guide. The first stop is the beautiful Yuexiu Park, where visitors can see the ancient city wall and the iconic 5-Ram Statue.
• Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King - Following this, the tour will proceed to the Tomb Museum, which was unearthed in 1984. The museum houses the original king’s tomb, various exhibitions, and documents. It is closed on Mondays, and if so, a visit to YongQingFang will be arranged instead.
• Chen Clan Ancestral Hall-Folk Craft Museum - The next destination is the Chen Clan Academy, established in 1894. Now a folk art museum, it features brick carvings, iron carvings, wood carvings, and more within the Cantonese-style houses. It is closed on Tuesdays, and if so, a visit to YongQingFang will be arranged instead.
• Shamian Island - The tour will then move to Shamian Island, a small island in the Pearl River that was a British and French colony 200 years ago. It’s a delightful place to stroll through the old streets lined with Western architecture. Depending on the time, a Cantonese dim sum lunch will be included.
• Canton Tower - Later, participants will enjoy a day cruise on the Pearl River, offering views of the riverside buildings. The tour will then proceed to Canton Tower, constructed in 2010 and standing 600 meters tall. Guests can purchase a ticket (not included) to take the lift to the observation floor for a panoramic view of the city.

The tour concludes at the tower square, where guests can take a metro or cab back to their hotel independently.

This tour offers an opportunity to discover the history of Guangzhou with a local guide via the public metro. The guide will introduce you to the city’s history and cultural attractions. Please remember to bring your passport for the tour.

The meeting point is at 9:30 am outside Exit B1 of Yuexiu Park station on metro line 2 in Guangzhou. From there, you will embark on an exploration of Guangzhou with a local guide. The tour concludes at Canton Tower.

Please note: The Museum of the Nanyue King Tomb is closed on Mondays, and the Academy of Clan Chen is closed on Tuesdays. In such cases, we will arrange a visit to YongQingFang instead. The Nanyue King Tomb has a daily visitor limit. While access to the tomb site itself cannot be guaranteed, it can still be viewed from the upper level.
