Guangzhou - Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby around 09:00 AM. You’ll be taken to the famous Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a 30-minute drive away.

Chen Clan Ancestral Hall-Folk Craft Museum - Built in 1894 during the Qing Dynasty by 72 Chen clans for their juniors’ accommodation and exam preparation, this hall is a complex showcasing traditional Cantonese architecture. It features intricate decorations, including wood, stone, brick carvings, pottery, plaster, and iron engravings.

Shamian Island - Next, you’ll travel by private car to Shamian Island, known for its European architectural style from its time as a British and French colony 100 years ago. Enjoy a local restaurant’s Cantonese Dim Sum for lunch.

Qingping Medicine Market - After lunch, you’ll visit Qingping Market, located at the intersection of Qingping Street and Tiyun Street along the Pearl River. This large market covers 11,200 square meters and has over 1,200 booths selling a variety of products, including Chinese herbal medicines. It has been visited by officials from over 40 countries.

Hualin Temple - Then, you’ll visit Hualin Temple, an ancient temple built about 1,400 years ago during the Southern Dynasties. Expanded and renamed in 1654, it was one of Guangzhou’s five largest Buddhist temples. The Five-Hundred-Arhat Hall, built during Emperor Daoguang’s reign, features lifelike statues of Arhats and a statue of Marco Polo.

Lychee Bay Scenic Area - Next, you’ll transfer to Lychee Bay, a popular tourist area in Guangzhou known for its authentic Lingnan culture and customs.

Guangzhou - Finally, your guide will escort you back to your hotel.

Guangzhou - Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby around 09:00 AM. You’ll be taken to Yuexiu Park, a 30-minute drive away.

Yuexiu Park - The largest park in downtown Guangzhou, Yuexiu Park covers 860,000 square meters and features three artificial lakes and seven hills. You can visit the Five-Ram Sculpture and Zhenhai Tower here.

Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King - After Yuexiu Park, you’ll visit the Nan Yue Kingdom Tomb Museum, the oldest and largest Han tomb in the Lingnan area. This museum covers 14,000 square meters and has 10 exhibition halls.

Canton Tower - Next, you’ll visit the Canton Tower, located at the intersection of Guangzhou New City Central Axes and the Pearl River. Standing 600 meters tall, it is the highest tower in China and the third highest in the world. The tower offers a unique experience and a new symbol of Guangzhou.

Guangzhou Railway Station - Finally, your guide will escort you to Guangzhou railway station for your train to Guilin. The D2842 train departs at 18:10 and arrives at 20:52, taking around 3 hours.

Guilin North Railway Station Parking Lot - Upon arrival in Guilin, you’ll be picked up and transferred to your hotel (driver only, no guide).

Guilin - Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby around 08:30 AM. You’ll be taken to the Reed Flute Cave, a 30-minute drive away.

Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan) - Inside this renowned karst cave, you’ll marvel at the formations of stalagmites and stalactites. The cave features bamboo shoot-shaped formations, stone lions, miniature forests, pagodas, and crystal chambers, each with its own story. The guided tour lasts about 40 minutes.

Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - After a two-hour drive, you’ll reach the Longji Terraces entrance in Ping’an Village. These terraces, with a history of over 650 years, are a stunning agricultural spectacle. The Ping’an Village Rice Terrace is the most famous, with narrow fields connected by winding trails and viewing platforms. You can also experience the traditional life of the Zhuang people here.

Ping’an Village - Upon arrival, you’ll take a moderate trek to Ping’an Zhuang Village, a 40-minute walk. Your guide will show you around the village, where you can see unique wooden stilted houses and have lunch.

After lunch, you’ll continue exploring the terraces, visiting the No.2 Viewing Platform (Seven Star with the Moon) and the No.1 Viewing Platform (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers).

Guilin - You’ll return to your Guilin hotel by private car around 17:30 PM, with free time for the rest of the day.

Guilin - Yangshuo. O/N Yangshuo.

Guilin - In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel around 07:45 AM and escort you to the Zhujiang pier for the Li River cruise to Yangshuo (4-star boat with buffet lunch).

Li River - The cruise departs at 9:20 AM and lasts about 4 hours. With your guide’s commentary, you’ll enjoy the stunning karst landscape of hills, forests, caves, and villages along the Li River. A buffet lunch will be served on board before arriving in Yangshuo at 2:00 PM.

Xianggong Mountain - After disembarking, you’ll drive to Xianggong Hill. A 15-minute climb along a moderately sloped staircase takes you to the top, offering a spectacular view of the Li River’s 180-degree bend.

Yangshuo County - Finally, your guide will escort you to your Yangshuo hotel. You have free time for the rest of the day. There’s an option to see the ‘Impression Sanjie Liu’ night show, performed on the Li River. If interested, your guide can reserve tickets and escort you to the show after dinner.

Yangshuo County - In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel around 09:00 AM and escort you to the Yulong River for a bamboo boat tour.

Yulong River - A bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River offers a relaxing way to enjoy the scenic area south of Yangshuo. You’ll see limestone mountains, villages, and farmlands from the raft. The ride lasts 50 minutes one way.

Fuli Ancient Town - Next, you’ll drive to Fuli Town, a 20-minute trip. Here, you’ll experience local farmers’ life, visit a market, and explore old streets with fan paintings and water buffalo near the river.

Xingping Town - Xingping Town, once a sleepy village, has grown but retains its historical charm. You can explore the old center, visit markets, and see the scenery featured on the 20 RMB note.

Yangshuo County - Finally, your guide will escort you to your hotel or Guilin hotel/airport/train station, ending your 5-day tour.
