Very nice - Super tour, the guide was really great. I don't remember his name, unfortunately. I didn't expect anything like this at all. We left at 10:30 AM. We stopped for Tequila Tasting, and there was a lot of different tequila and liqueurs, and overall I didn't expect that you could drink so much. I wasn't expecting tequila at all from early morning. And there was much more choice than on the traditional tequila tour that I took separately. Then we stopped at a restaurant to eat, but I didn't like the food there. It was quite loud with musicians singing. The fish tacos were the worst I've ever eaten. But we had no choice - they brought us to this restaurant and unfortunately, it wasn't possible to go somewhere else to eat. Then they took us on a boat ride on the lake. Nothing special. And then we stopped in two towns, Ajijic and Chapala. I really liked these towns, we spent an hour in each. And it was very nice to walk around there.

Great Experience for the Price - This experience is good for a group or a solo traveler. To be honest, you get so much for the price you pay. I liked that we were able to get away from the hustle and bustle of Guadalajara. The tequila tasting was fun! We were able to purchase a variety of tequila. Our stop for lunch was sun because we were able to see performances. Overall a great decision to go on this excursion!

Lake Chapala - We had a great tour in a big van. We made multiple stops along our trip. the guide was great, he was able to translate into English for us. It was a long day. We had a great seafood lunch, a short boat ride on the lake. No information re: how the lake was created and it didn't appear to be a recreational lake. The small towns were very cute, we were able to walk around on our own but again would have appreciated a little more information about the towns and history.

Day Trip - Overall my family and I really enjoyed this trip. We had the opportunity to see a lot in just a little time. Javier the tour guide was great. He explained every stop in detail. The margaritas he prepared for us were amazing. I definitely recommend this.

A wonderful way to make the trip from Guadalajara to Ajijic or Chapala . - We were traveling from Guadalajara to Ajijic so the tour was great means of transportation. We enjoyed the ranch, tequila tasting , lunch at El Carnal . Our driver , Javier, was fabulous and fun. We could have taken a boring taxi ride to our hotel in Ajijic , but instead we took tour for just about the same price. Highly recommend it!

Book for a calm but rewarding day! - This tour was a fun but calm and enjoyable way to spend our day! Javier was very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive with our large group. He kept us hydrated throughout the day, had a great playlist, and even mixed up some palomas for us for the rides between stops. Visiting a small distillery and being given time to experience and walk around the magical towns of Chapala and Axixic was appreciated. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to see the surrounding areas of Guadalajara.

Too long and too boring... - It gives me no pleasure to write this review. But, I agree with a previous reviewer who said it is too long, and I will add, too boring. Our guide, Javier, is a charming guide, and cares about his group, but there are hours of time when we were left on our own with little interesting to do. It starts with a visit to the ranch of Vincente Fernandez, which consists of standing around looking at a resemblance of Vincente and a visit to a store full of tourist items, all overpriced. Then a tequila tasting with a minimum of info about the tequila production process. Then lunch at a seafood restaurant on Lake Chalala; an overpriced restaurant with cold food. All of these are obviously sources of sponsorship for the agency. Next was a stop in Ajijic for 1 and a half hours of wandering around with no guide...then a stop in Chapala for another 1 and a half hour wander without a guide. This would not have been so bad if it didn't mean we got back to our hotel at 9, too late for dinner and too tired to go out for the night. I was eager to find out more about Ajijic and Chapala, but this was not the way.
