Extremely disappointing. - The tour in the bottle truck is just advertising because they sold us the tickets with the idea that we would get on that vehicle, when in reality they are on board white vans. False advertising. Then as soon as we turned up the music it was at maximum volume, which is inconsiderate considering that not all people have the same tolerance for such high volume. We politely asked the driver if he could lower the volume a little and he simply ignored the comment. Afterwards we arrived at a tequila tasting and the place was very good, the problem was that our guide made a “joke” that is really offensive about women who “once they drink they all let up.” Comment of absolute bad taste and offensive. I find it incredible that it normalizes a discourse of machismo and gender violence. In the end we decided to end the tour and take our own return on another bus, without the possibility of any kind of refund for transportation back to gdl. If what you are looking for is a cultural tour to learn about the fascinating history and production of tequila, DO NOT pay for this tour.
