A must do! - We did the Sea and Land tour with Marlan as our captain and Shaggy as our tour guide. We took a cab from our resort (Secrets St Lucia) to their dock at Rodney Bay marina but when we told them where we were staying they arranged to drop us off right on the beach of our resort at the end of the tour. Every activity we did was amazing. Shaggy knows so much about the island and all the people at every tour stop know him and have a great relationship with him. Marlan was a very skilled captain and put everyone’s mind at ease. I think some of the people on our tour weren’t used to being on a boat and started the day a little nervous, but by the end of the day they were having as much fun as the rest of us. Once all of the guests had been picked up from their locations we began the boat ride to Soufriere. Along the way we pulled off at different spots to hear the history or interesting facts about the places we were passing and a stop to take pictures with the beautiful Pitons. Once we docked at Soufriere we took a short cab ride to the hot springs and mud baths. After that another short cab ride we to the waterfall then one last quick ride to lunch. The local lunch was delicious. It was served buffet style and there was something for everyone! Fish, chicken, rice, Mac n cheese, fried plantains, lentils, etc. My husband debated going back for seconds but we knew we still had snorkeling ahead of us. The snorkeling at Sugar Beach was the highlight of my trip. The water was crystal clear and you could see so many beautiful fish and sea life. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering it.

Outstanding tour of the Caribbean coast of St Lucia - This was an outstanding experience. The sequence was (1) pickups, in our case starting from Rodney Bay; (2) cruising down the west (Caribbean) coast, with short detours to see and/or explore places of interest such as Marigot Bay; (3) a stop for 45min at a tiny harbour directly between the Piton mountains, a UNESCO world heritage site, and snorkelling over a very life-rich section of coral reef shelving down to the chasm between the Pitons; (4) on to Soufrière, named for its sulphur, and a shift to a minibus; (5) a drive up the caldera of the local volcano, Qualibou, and in for a stop at the sulphur springs (very hot pools, mud with a mud art option, rinse); (6) a trip to, and under, Toraille Waterfall; (7) a buffet lunch at a Soufrière restaurant; (8) back on the boat; (9) back up the west coast stopping at some more features of interest including a waterfront bat cave. The tour operators (Marlan, driving the boat, and Shaggy, guiding) were terrific. A variety of drinks on the boat. We had previously done some exploring by car, and it's very noticeable that a fast boat is a much quicker way to see a lot of the island, as there's often quite a bit of traffic. Thoroughly recommended; if you only did one thing on a trip to St Lucia, you wouldn't regret choosing this.

Worth it! - Amazing day, enjoyed the beauty of the island, and warmth and friendliness of the people. Excellent vibes! Our tour guide was Skinny Jimmy, and our boat captain was Kareem. They were both excellent hosts, who attended to our comfort and safety, including our kids (6-12yo) and grandma. Complimentary drinks—water, soda, beer—provided on the boat. Stops at Sugar beach between the majestic Pitons, and Soufriere for mud baths, waterfall and lunch. Skinny Jimmy took group photos for us at all the stops, which was so helpful! Bring some small bills cash, there are lots of vendors selling trinkets to tourists, and kids jumping off cliffs into the sea for tips. Lunch was all local food, so if you have picky kids like we do, you may want to pack them something. Overall a great tour of the island highlights, well worth the price!

Great Time! - So many pros: friendly hosts, a lot of time at Sugar Beach for snorkeling, beverages on board, checked off all the must dos, got lots of great pics, wonderful lunch. Some might say the only “con” was how quick the speed boat was-but we find that as another pro. I was worried I might get sick bc I have before on a speed boat-but didn’t even come close. Traveled with my 70 year old parents, my partner (both in our 40s), and my 15 year old son and a great time was had by all! So glad I booked this and not through the hotel. Also-they picked us up right from the dock of our hotel. Thank you Marlan and Shaggy!

Family trip to St Lucia - We booked with Marlans Boat Tour and loved every minute of it! It was our families favorite day! It was jam packed with a scenic tour to Soufrieres via speed boat, and snorkeling where we saw the best fish. We then went to the Volcano to do the mud bath and waterfall, followed by lunch. GREAT DAY!! Thank you!

Highlight of my trip! - Book the tour!! Marlon was very accommodating for pick up. I had a great time with Skinny J and Cocoa. They were knowledgeable and as a solo traveler, they were up to the challenge in taking my photos- they should charge because all of my photos came out so great! The food was great, the vibes were better. I definitely would book this again.

Great excursion in St Lucia! - Marlan and shaggy provide a fun excursion experience. Shaggy is knowledgeable and funny and Marlan is a very skilled captain. Every time Marlan docked it was very smooth. I was a bit apprehensive about the mud baths but it ended up being a lot of fun. Snorkeling was fantastic on sugar beach. The waterfall was “refreshing” but worth doing! Also, they use your phone to take your pictures so you don’t have to purchase a photo package separately. If you are staying at sandals in St Lucia you should definitely check them out!

Our Favorite Experience! - All I can say is Wow! Our family of 5 had an amazing time! This was the best tour of our Southern Caribbean Cruise. From the scenic Marigot Bay to the the stunning Pitons, from the wonderful white sands, amazing swimming and snorkeling at Sugar Beach to the adventurous mud bath at Sulphur Springs, from the beautiful and resounding waters of Toralle Waterfall to a scrumptious lunch in Soufriere, and from the unique live Bat Cave to the exciting Lover's Rock, we had the time of our life! Marlan and Shaggy helped make our experience fun and exciting! Our kids (age 12, 15 and 17) absolutely loved it! And, as promised, we were back to our ship with plenty of time for souvenir shopping. Thank you Marlan and Shaggy!
