  • Folkingestraat 87 - The Folkingestraat is a street in the city center of Groningen, named after the Folkerdinghe family, who lived on the corner with the Akerkhof. The street has been here since the 11th century.
  • Gedempte Zuiderdiep 158 - You will stop next in front of the Academy Minerva, a Dutch art academy. The academy was founded in 1798 in Groningen as a school for arts, architecture, construction engineering, and seamanship.
  • Reitemakersrijge 22 - You’ll walk across this small bridge, and stop in the back of the Groningsch Museum. The Groningsch Museum was originally founded in 1853 as a humble collection of lost and found items.
  • Akerkhof 41 - Next, you’ll walk along the Akerkhof until you reach the side of the Der Aa church. This church is the most important remaining medieval church building in the city. It was built for Catholic worship and taken over by the Protestants during the Reformation.

Surprisingly fun afternoon - A very nice way to get to know my own city (better). Fine to eat and drink in between and then pick up again. We found it surprising and the questions are also very nice and especially not too easy. Overall had a very nice afternoon!

The Outside Escape city game in the beautiful city of Groningen - This was my first time doing an outside escape city game at the invitation of my girlfriend and I loved it. I thought I already knew the city of Groningen quite well, but I came across places I had not seen before. The riddles were super fun, not too easy either. It's actually nice to actually have to put some effort into it. We had a nice lunch in between and had a drink somewhere else, so the afternoon was filled in no time. With the exception of 1 point that we lost, we had everything going well, which gave us a nice boost. I will definitely do this again in another city.

What a wonderful experience - How exciting it was. What are we going to encounter and what should we do? The explanation via your mobile phone is fine. At times we had to think hard, but in the end we came out and solved everything. We even went into a krieg at the end point to have a drink. We ordered a delicious snack board. What a great experience this outside escape in Groningen was. We will soon book another city. Already looking forward to

Great if you want to show your friends the city - My friends and I did the outside escape in Groningen after it was recommended by a friend of mine. Since my friends had never been to Groningen, I found it difficult to think of a fun way to show them the city. This was perfect for it. The route took us past parts of the city that I had not thought of showing. There was also enough room for many breaks to have a coffee. Although we had to ask for a lot of hints, we still found it a fun experience.
