Great tour and tour company! - What an amazing tour of an incredible place! Explore West Coast Tour and especially Linda for the wonderful tour today took excellent care of us, showing us beautiful scenery in Greymouth and on the way to Pancake Rocks. Linda fabulous and so knowledgeable of history and the local animals and plants - we learned a lot and had fun doing it. The van is comfortable and the half day tour is well planned and even better than the description. The tea stop was a fantastic treat to cap our terrific afternoon with Linda. I will use this company anytime I can and I strongly recommend them - Linda too.

The power of the sea - Absolutely loved this experience. We visited in low and high tide and the difference was breathtaking. I have always loved the sea and this was a wonderful way to experience it: the walk is mostly level with some staircases and every corner provides a different view of the rock pools or blow holes. Magical.

Exceeded Expectations - Our friendly, knowledgable and informative Guide Linda adapted our tour on the day, to meet our interests. This included, among others, the "Paparoa Experience" within the Punangairi Visitor Centre, that provided an enlightening historical cultural context to our tour experience. While the Pancake Rocks were amazing, we enjoyed Linda's drawing our attention to other places, people, flora and fauna, eg the Nikau Palm grove. Thank you, a wonderful day.

Stunning views - The Pancake Rocks are simply amazing and the beach area and short hikes are stunning. The Blow Holes were underwhelming due to the low tide when we visited, but we loved the tour regardless. Our guide, Helen, also had great dinner tips and guidance for getting to the Hokatika Airport the next day.

Beautiful and the drive from South is amazing - This is a can't miss visit and very easy walk where there are several lookout locations to view the rocks. Apparently you need to time the tide to high tide to see the blow holes work (we were mid tide and saw nothing) but the views are still incredible.
