• Derinkuyu Underground City - Underground City: This ancient underground settlement, discovered in 1963, is nearly 4,000 years old. It serves as an underground refuge with about 8 floors of living spaces, enabling people to endure for extended periods. This ancient labyrinthine structure includes kitchens, wineries, food storage areas, places of worship, water wells, ventilation shafts, animal stables, and even a morgue, all located meters below the surface.

• Ihlara Valley - Ihlara Valley: This is the largest canyon in Cappadocia, offering a unique visual spectacle with the Melendiz stream flowing through it, steep basalt cliffs, and caves carved into these cliffs. It served as a refuge for Christians who came to Cappadocia and was a significant retreat center, especially for Christian monks. Visitors can enjoy lunch at a charming restaurant by the stream in the valley, followed by a leisurely walk along the stream to experience the valley’s natural beauty.

• Selime Monastery - Selime Monastery: This was the largest Byzantine cave monastery complex in Cappadocia, over a thousand years old. It consists of living quarters for monks carved into a steep hillside. The monastery is renowned for its cave cathedral with impressive carving art, which is why it is also known as Selime Cathedral.

• Pigeon Valley - Pigeon Valley: This is another brief stop, serving as a viewpoint where visitors can see numerous caves once used for raising pigeons. It’s a perfect spot to take photos of the valley.
