- Uchisar Castle - This towering volcanic rock formation, the tallest fairy chimney at 1,350 meters above sea level, stands as one of Cappadocia’s most notable landmarks, visible from miles away. Filled with tunnels, it served as a refuge for villagers for centuries when enemy forces invaded the plains. Ascending through its intricate core to the panoramic viewpoint at its summit offers a magnificent way to witness the sunset over Cappadocia’s rock valleys, showcasing everything from the stunning red hues of Mt. Erciyes to the Hasan Mountains, from Pigeon Valley to Avanos, and from Ortahisar Castle to the town of Göreme.
- Zelve Open Air Museum - Zelve Valley is recognized as the longest-inhabited settlement in the Cappadocia region and is also its oldest. It is believed that Christianity began to spread here. The valley is home to numerous monasteries, churches, and dwellings. After the Christian era, Zelve Valley continued to be used as a village until the 1950s.
- Fairy Chimneys - These mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys are located in Monks Valley. Historically, monks sought solitude in this valley, hence its alternative name, Monks Valley. Upon visiting, one will understand why the monks chose this location, as the peace and tranquility envelop visitors from the moment they enter.
- Devrent Valley - Known as Imagination Valley, this area features fairy chimneys shaped like animals.
- Avanos - In Avanos, a town renowned for pottery, visitors can observe pottery-making and explore the pottery museum.
- Love Valley - This valley, a must-visit in Cappadocia, stretches 4,900 meters and captivates every visitor with its impressive fairy chimneys, vineyards, and fruit trees.
- Kaymakli Underground City - Known as the deepest underground city.
- Pigeon Valley - Güvercinlik Valley, extending from Uçhisar to Göreme and covering 4 kilometers, is named after the pigeon nests carved into the rocks. Locals fed these pigeons until the 9th century, using their manure in vineyards and their eggs in fresco plasters.
