Paşabağ - Known as the fairy-chimneys valley, this area showcases the mushroom-shaped natural rock formations dubbed fairy chimneys by the locals of Cappadocia.
Avanos - Renowned as the pottery town of Cappadocia, Avanos has been a hub of craftsmanship since 1600 BC, during the Hittite era. The pottery kick wheel was invented here, and in recent centuries, Avanos has become known for tile production.
Devrent Valley - A perfect spot for photography, featuring a stone formation resembling a seated camel.
Ürgüp - Known for the family fairy-chimneys, consisting of five formations representing a grandfather, grandmother, parents, and child.
Ihlara Valley and Kaymaklı or Derinkuyu Underground City
Kaymaklı Underground City - Spend about an hour exploring the rooms and shelters of this fascinating underground city.
Ihlara Valley - This 14 km long, 150-meter deep canyon boasts around 4,000 man-made caves and 100 rock-cut churches and chapels. Enjoy a 3 km walk and visit some of Ihlara’s churches, such as the Ağaçaltı Church, Sümbüllü Church, and Snake Church.
Selime Monastery - The largest rock-cut monastery in Cappadocia, carved into a cliff. The scenery here is extraordinary and was used as a backdrop in some scenes of the Star Wars movie.
