Istanbul - The driver will be ready at the Istanbul hotel to transfer guests to the airport for the flight to Cappadocia. Airport transfers are available from numerous hotels in Istanbul. Hotel pick-up times range from 4:15 am to 6:30 am, depending on the flight schedule. Upon arrival in Cappadocia, guests will be welcomed at Kayseri or Nevsehir airport and transferred to Cappadocia. The tour guide will meet guests for the day tour following the airport transfer. (Hotel check-in will occur after the tour.)

Uchisar Castle - The first stop is the breathtaking viewpoint of Uchisar Castle, where guests will learn about Cappadocia’s rich history and unique rock formations. (Panorama only)

Goreme Open-Air Museum - Known as one of the earliest monasteries in Christian history, the Goreme Open-Air Museum is a rock-cut settlement that provided education to spread Christianity. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1985, featuring frescoed churches and rock dwellings.

Avanos - Avanos is one of Cappadocia’s oldest settlements. The art of pottery, which began during the Hittite period, continues today with many workshops available. This visit includes lunch and a brief tour along the Kızılırmak (Red River).

Fairy Chimneys - Cappadocia is renowned for its distinctive landforms. Pasabag is the ideal location to witness these formations and the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. Also known as Monks Valley, Pasabag offers a chance to see the famous mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys and St. Simeon’s monk cell carved into the rock.

Devrent Valley - Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley, is famous for its animal-shaped rock formations, perfect for capturing stunning photographs.

Ortahisar - Weaving is a significant aspect of Turkish culture, a tradition from Central Asia that continues in Cappadocia. A brief visit to a cooperative where world-renowned Turkish carpets are made will provide insight into this ancient art.

Urgup - At the tour’s conclusion, the guide will drop guests off at their hotel.

Goreme Panorama - Goreme Panorama offers stunning views of the picturesque village of Goreme.

Goreme - A visit to Goreme village includes a lunch break, followed by time for photos and a short walk.

Pigeon Valley - The sixth stop, Pigeon Valley, is iconic in Cappadocia. Pigeons have been vital to the region, used in agriculture and church decoration. The use of pigeon eggs for frescoes was a significant discovery, leading to the construction of large rock-carved pigeon houses. Although fresco artists are no longer present, this symbiotic relationship continues.

Cappadocia - At the tour’s end, guests will be transferred to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for the flight back to Istanbul.
