- Isthmus of Corinth - The journey begins in Athens, with a scenic one-hour drive along the coastal highway to Corinth. The Isthmus of Corinth is a slender land bridge linking Central Greece to the Peloponnese. The canal carved through it connects the Saronic Gulf with the Gulf of Corinth. Spanning approximately 6 kilometers, its narrowest section is where the Corinth Canal was constructed between 1880 and 1893. Historically strategic, a wall was erected here in ancient times (late 5th century BC) and remained until the Byzantine era (Hexamilion).
- Ancient Nemea - Nemea is a prominent wine-producing region in Greece, recognized as one of the largest and most significant PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) zones. It extends from Argolis to Corinthia, with Agiorgitiko as the primary grape variety. Seventeen villages define this zone, offering a unique wine area with varying altitudes, soil types, and microclimates. Our wine experience programs, curated by expert oenologists, allow visitors to sample a selection of both aged and recent vintages in our cellar or tasting hall. The experience includes tastings of four signature wines paired with a variety of cheeses, showcasing the renowned PDO regions of the Peloponnese or the blend of indigenous and locally cultivated international varieties. The tour lasts about 60 minutes and costs between 15€-19€ per person. Other guests may join the tour.
- Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos) - Corinth was a city-state (polis) situated on the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow land strip connecting the Peloponnese to mainland Greece, approximately midway between Athens and Sparta. The modern city of Corinth is located about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) northeast of the ancient ruins. Since 1896, the American School of Classical Studies at Athens has conducted systematic archaeological excavations, uncovering significant portions of the ancient city. Recent excavations by the Greek Ministry of Culture have revealed important new insights into antiquity.
- Apostolos Pavlos Church - The Church of Apostle Paul is a significant Orthodox church in Corinth, dedicated to Apostle Paul, who spread Christianity there in the 1st century AD. Corinth was a key location in Paul’s missionary journeys, where he lived and taught for approximately eighteen months. The church is near the ancient site where Saint Paul is believed to have addressed the Corinthians. Today, it serves as a place of worship and pilgrimage, admired for its spiritual significance, elegant architecture, and connection to early Christian history.
