4x4 off road experience - Great trip around Kos to see parts of the island off the usual roads. Be sure to wear sensible shoes and sunscreen in summer as you will be in the sun occasionally.

Wonderful way to see parts of Kos that would otherwise be hidden - Absolutely fabulous trip, knowledgable guide, comfortable vehicle with plenty of opportunities to get out and soak up the rugged, hidden beauty of Kos - far from the madding crowds! We loved this trip and would thoroughly recommend it in a heartbeat.

Kicking it in Kos - We enjoyed exploring Kos by 4 wheel drive in the company of our guide Nicholas. We were part of a convoy of 4 cars, but this did not take away from the personal attention and care we received from Nick. The views on offer were sensational and our little village stop in Zia, with lunch, was most enjoyable.

“An unforgettable adventure!” - The Jeep Safari on Kos is an absolute highlight. We were able to experience the island from a whole new perspective and drove through beautiful, remote landscapes that you never get to see otherwise. The route passed through mountains, pine forests and remote villages, and we had breathtaking views of the sea. Our guide collected us on time at the hotel in the morning. He told us a lot about the history and culture of the island. His stories are entertaining and funny. Dimi made the tour a personal experience and responded to all questions and wishes. There were several stops where we had time to take photos and enjoy nature. Riding in the Jeep itself was a bit of an adventure, but Dimi is a super driver. We felt safe and in very good hands All in all, the Jeep Safari was a perfect mix of adventure, nature and culture. I can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore Kos away from the typical tourist attractions. It was a unique experience that will stay with us for a long time!”

Kos off road - An excellent trip covering parts of the island that coaches can't get to. Our driver Steve was very knowledgeable, funny and a very good host.

Good to explore a little more of Kos - Good multilingual guides, good and good to get into the mountains off paved road. Worth doing. The coul add another attraction to make the trip a little longer. Confusion over pick-up time, one email said 8 am another 9 am.

Excursion was fine - Despite the nice driver, you got to know very little about the country and people. Information about the island was unfortunately missing and the ride was very exhausting as we had to sit squeezed together with three adult people in a row. The stops sometimes seemed very loveless. One, two basic dates about the place, take photo and more.. the best we liked the stay in Zia. The food was delicious too. Overall, the trip was okay, though, as you get to places you wouldn't otherwise reach.

Kos 4x4 Exploration: Like a Mob Chase Through the Mountains — Minus the Cops, Plus the Views - So it’s a Tuesday in Kos. Blue skies, hot sun, and me and the boys—my cousin Frankie, Joey “Two Scoops,” and Mikey B—decide we’re gonna go explore. But not your typical tourist stroll around the shops. Nah. We rent this 4x4 beast with tires big enough to crush your nonna’s Fiat and take the back roads—real back roads. The kind where GPS says “good luck.” We’re not five minutes in before we’re bouncing up some gravel trail that looks like it ain’t been touched since the Roman Empire. Dust flyin’, tires slippin’, and goats starin’ at us like we owe ’em money. Joey’s yellin’, Frankie’s laughin’, and I’m behind the wheel thinking, if this thing flips, tell Ma I love her. We hit the top of some mountain—don’t ask me the name, I couldn’t pronounce it if you paid me—and BAM. You’re lookin’ at the whole damn Aegean. That water? Bluer than a Sinatra song. Wind hittin’ your face, sun on your back—it’s like you’re in a cologne commercial, minus the model and plus a few sweaty Italians yellin’ “take the picture already!” After that, we find this dirt road that looks like it leads to Mordor. Naturally, we take it. Bouncing around, bottoming out, shouting “forget about it” every five seconds. At one point, we pass this old chapel with no roof and a half-burnt candle inside. Joey lights another one “just in case.” We end up in this tiny village—like six houses and a donkey. Nobody speaks English, but food shows up anyway. Fresh bread, olives, cheese so good I nearly cried. We grab a few cold beers, sit under a fig tree, and just breathe. Not a sound except the wind and Mikey B snoring in the passenger seat. Ride back was smoother—probably ‘cause Frankie finally figured out 4WD doesn’t mean “drive like a lunatic.”

Poorly organized and uncomfortable - Our driver, Steve, was excellent. He was a good and safe driver and explained what we were seeing. The tour was mostly driving to overlooks to see amazing sights. The worst part was the car, which was a Toyota Land Cruiser. It was extremely uncomfortable for the adults in both the middle and rear seats. There was no leg room and the people in the back had to intertwine their legs sideways since they could not bend their knees sufficiently. There were 5 cars in our group. We first drove to a remote beach and had to wait over 40 minutes for the other 4 cars to pick up passengers and meet us. There had to be a better way to organize this tour! For these 2 reasons I would not recommend this tour.
