Dave is a great tour guide! - The tour was very picturesque and a good way to spend the day even with slightly gloomy weather. Our amazing tour guide, Dave helped to make this tour as enjoyable as it was by giving us great instructions on what to expect throughout the day as well as always being easy to find after getting off the train or back onto the bus. You’ll have a great time on the tour by taking in a different side of the UK and consider yourself lucky if you get Dave as your tour guide!

Wonderful Experience with David - Just returned from a fantastic tour of the Lake District with Mountain Goat. The weather was perfect, and the scenery—absolutely stunning! Our driver-guide, David, was wonderful—super knowledgeable, calm, and incredibly patient. Tour guides are expected to be very chatty, but his composed and thoughtful style made the experience even better for us. We had ample time for family photos, and the highlight was definitely the Lakeside and Haverthwaite steam railway—magical!! If we could have had some more time for short hikes/trails around the lake area, that would be incredible.But overall, an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Best Tour in England - Best England tour I have been on. Lakes District was awesome. Long day but worth it. Highly recommend. Our driver Mark from Mountain Goat was excellent . He told history of the district and some stories along the way.

Fantastic tour of the Lake District & tour guide - Had an absolute fantastic time would highly recommend this tour and Scott as a must do tour of the Lake District. Scott was our tour guide who did such a fantastic job and really went above and beyond to give us an enjoyable time. What a lovely day. Thank you so much Scott!

Great day out in the Lakes - I'm a great fan of Mountain Goat tours and this one from Manchester didn't disappoint! Our guide Paul was excellent bringing his personal experiences of many hikes and explorations around the Lakes. Unbelievable value for money over nine and a half hours with highlights for me being the cruise on Lake Windermere, breath-taking Tarn Howes and the wonderful village of Hawkshead. The lovely weather helped all of us enjoy a memorable day out!

The best experience , we... - The best experience , we travelled using this company previously back in montenegro and we experienced very bad situation with the operators but not with company, but here the best my family were very happy with the people who was there in guidance, must need app for those who want to have safe and marvellous journey experience, thanks for memories

It was okay. - The scenery for the time in the Lake District was very nice. The drive to get there and back was long, as expected. The lake cruise was disappointing, as the boat's windows hadn't been cleaned in a while, so taking pics was out. It was a cool and windy day, so topside wasn't an option for many people.
