Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath - Maniıng and johh are very nice, they helped us for everything we need. Thank you for this nice journal. Stonehenge is a very interesting place. We liked the Roman Bath, the construction system.

Windsor Castle is must see - Tour was good, Oliver our guide was knowledgeable and animated. The coach seats provided very poor leg room. Our group was 14 so coach was small. All three stops were worth the trip.

A beautiful day outside of London - Sandra was a fantastic guide for my daughter and I as we journeyed outside of London. She shared information about the sites along the way and gave clear directions for meeting times. Her love for the countryside, Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle were evident as she spoke with us. It was a perfect pace and a beautiful day!

Great tour of Salisbury Cathedral (Magna Carta), Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle - We had a great tour of Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle with Golden Tours. First, the highlights Our guide, Oscar, was very friendly and informative during our bus ride. We bought tickets that included entry to each attraction and our entrances were very smooth - we never had to wait in line. The guide also knew how to time our stops so we didn’t have huge crowds, despite traveling during summer, when things are busy. These are three great places to visit - we got to see the Magna Carta (Salisbury), Stonehenge, and the tomb of Elizabeth II + the royal apartments (Windsor). It was also nice being in an air conditioned coach given England was experiencing a heat wave during our trip. Now for the areas that can be improved. Our driver took a few wrong turns despite having a GPS. This disrupted the tour guide’s talk and we were worried we might lose time at each attraction if we got lost or needed to take a detour. The time allotted for each attraction is 1.5 hours, however, Salisbury and Stonehenge felt more like 30 minutes. We had to walk a bit or take an extra bus for those sites and with time for a toilet break and quick snack, we didn’t have nearly 1.5 hours to “tour” the sites. Our guide also didn’t accompany us into the attractions. He walked us to the entrance and we were on our own to manage our time at the attraction and make our way back to the bus on time, or be left behind. At Stonehenge, our tour was joined by a family who was left behind by another bus. They didn’t look happy! For the price we paid, we would have liked for the guide to stay with our group, help manage timing, give a tour, and help us make our way back to the bus. We managed ok, but this made the tour less enjoyable. There was no time for a sit down lunch and not really time to buy and takeaway food until 5pm when we were in Windsor. It would be helpful if they suggest packing lunch or lots of snacks upon booking. Finally, our coach had TV screens with pre-loaded games, however, most didn’t work. The WiFi was also terrible. And the driver blasted the air con so high that many people were cold and uncomfortable - the guide and driver didn’t check on us to see how the participants were doing. If you’re looking for a way to maximize your bursting around London, I would definitely recommend Golden Tours. Overall, we had a good experience and were glad we got to see so much without having to worry about transit, tickets, and lines. Hopefully the areas for improvement will be taken to heart to make future tours even better.

Think about it before you take this one - Our guide Trish spoke fluid Spanish, and we speak English. She tried to do both languages but forgot where she was. Trish should be a sprinter, she took off before everyone was off the bus and at a pace of approximately 3.5 mph... quick for older or not physically used to pace. It was supposed to be guided tour but totally in our own at Windsor, glad there were people to direct us. Nice bus driver. Didn't have any guidance and didn't know about audio sets until half way through. Stonehenge self guided as well as Cathedral. All sites must see, the guide part more like transportation with some bus information about sites. I didn't tip.

Windsor Castle - The bus accommodations were comfortable, however the bus did not have a bathroom. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Directions to the meeting stop were confusing, the did provided a video on how to get there but last turn to reach the gathering point is to the RIGHT not the left. Windsor Castle is huge and 1.5 hrs is not enough they should add 1 more hour.

Good Tour / Annoying Guide - The tour was well organized, and I think we were given a proper amount of time at each location. Our driver Richard was lovely. The reason I didn’t give a higher rating is because I personally did not care for our guide at all. His cadence was annoying & distracting. It was like he wanted to be a Shakespearean actor. He would take 10 second pauses in the middle of a sentence. Plus I did not find the tid bits of info he shared interesting at all.

Bad experience - The Guide is too unpolite. There's no time to see Windsor properly. And the tour in Oxford is ridiculous, don't show anything, don't enter anywhere.
