It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King.
Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George’s Chapel. The Castle’s State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle’s royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV.

If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.

Come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and visit the world-class exhibition centre, with 250 ancient objects on display. (If option selected.)

Great trip with Mel and Gary! - Mel was an amazing guide and Gary was an excellent driver! They took us to Oxford, then Windsor, and Stonehenge, which allowed us to beat the crowds and have a great flow to our trip. For Oxford: I’d recommend walking through the campus with a guide and then taking the allotted time after for pictures! If you have something specific you want to see, research it beforehand to make sure you know where it is. Windsor and Stonehenge were less guided because each of those destinations had people scattered throughout to answer questions! Overall, a great day and I’d recommend to anyone!

Great Trip, Great Guide - Mel did a great job keeping us entertained between stops! He is incredibly knowledgeable, making his information flow. He answered all our questions with ease, even how to navigate after the tour. The tour was fun! Of course cramming three things in one day makes each visit short, but it was still fun to get a taste of each spot. This was also nice to do after several days of walking around the city!

Read this so you’re not disappointed! - We wanted to go into Windsor castle as this was the main reason that we booked this tour. We were only told that the castle isn’t open when we arrived at the bus station to get on the tour which was extremely disappointing and we felt that we didn’t get what we paid for and wanted to really see. We could have gone on this tour on another day had we been told when booking this excursion. Very disappointed!
