Perfect for learning more about London's multi-faceted history! - It is always a pleasure following Tom on his historic tours in London. He has deep knowledge of every corner on his route and he tells us stories of dramas and peculiarities of everyday life in London as well as important events for the nation as well, always with the same passion (and with a twinkle in the eye - much appreciated)!

Interesting, fun and relaxed - Really enjoyed this. It’s the second of Tom’s tours we’ve been on, which I guess is a recommendation in itself. Tom has a very easy style, is interesting and well-informed, but not shy of admitting when he doesn’t know something and finding out the answer. The pace is easy, so two hours passes very easily. We’ll definitely do more.

Perfect walking tour - This is the second walking tour we have done with Tom. I'm a little bit slow but Tom waited for me to catch up before starting the talk. Really with Tom, you get 2 for 1 because you go on his tour and after you plan your visit to the different places and museums he pointed out on your walk. There were 5 of us and we can't wait to find a date for our next historic London walking tour with Tom.

Exceeded expectations, covered everything! - Tom took us and our two teenagers on this really satisfying tour of historic central London. He kept us continually engaged and really brought the title of the tour to life. Our teenagers were fascinated by the history of Londinium and Londonwic and we all enjoyed how he vividly brought to life the last hours of the inmates of Newgate prison before the bell tolled for them and they met their fate. There is plenty of variety and humour in the telling, Tom is a born tour guide!

Another fantastic tour - We had a fantastic time on the Turmoil, Templars & Oliver Twist: London's Squalor and Splendour tour, on a sunny spring morning. So much information shared by Tom about areas we have been to many times and never knew the rich history of the early years. I’d highly recommend Tom and his tours. I think this is my 3rd and I’ve already started to look at which one I’ll join next. Thank you Tom

Another Great Tour With Tom - As per usual, Tom served up an excellent walking tour and was full of knowledge about the places he took us to. This is our fourth walk with Tom and we can't wait to come back next year to do the next one. It's the highlight of our annual London trip, and we always time it around when we can fit in a Tom Tour. Don't use anyone else, Tom is the best, a great host, knows his stuff and a very genial tour guide. See you next spring Tom.

Excellent tour of central London locations - recommended - The tour leader's knowledge and rapport with the group was excellent. The route and stories told were interesting even for someone who lives and works in London. I enjoyed the tour and would thoroughly recommend this tour guide.
