Five stars - The guide is full of those wonderfully absurd London stories — the kind that make you laugh, then quietly Google if they’re actually true. I had no idea a boxing match and the Parliament tower could share a plotline, but here we are. There’s royal gossip too — the kind whispered behind Buckingham Palace curtains, probably over tea and mild scandal. What makes it even better: the whole thing’s written by an actual London cab driver. So it’s got that dry humor, the kind that only someone who’s spent decades navigating traffic and the British psyche could pull off. Five stars. Great stories, perfect route, and a finale that literally ends at the doors of one of the best museums in the world. (If only all journeys ended at the National Gallery — and not in a meeting room.)
