Super interesting tour! - This was a brilliant tour, Mary was so engaging and full of amazing (disgusting) facts! There is a lot of standing near the river so I would check the weather and wrap up warm - it was chilly! Highly recommend

A fascinating deep dive into the gruesome history of Southwark in London - Having lived in London for many years I thought it would be an interesting opportunity to take a deeper look at some of the history of the city. This is a lightly immersive tour which focused on many of the gruesome aspects of life in the Medieval city of Southwark. It was presented by Mary who is quite the performer. We learned many interesting facts about the disgusting conditions in which the ordinary people lived in the day. Much of it was not for the squeamish! But in particular I learnt a lot about the highly disreputable relationship between the church and prostitution during the time. It led to a much deeper dive when I got home and I do have to say I found it both fascinating and horrifying. I didn’t expect a tour of this nature to spot my interest so deeply. Entertaining and highly recommended.

Best walking tour in london! - Absolutely amazing! Never had a history lesson so interesting. I have done most walking tours in the city and this by far is the best one. The guide was really nice and engaging with the crowd.

Perfect if you like your history with the nasty bits left in. - This is the second time I have done a cloak and dagger tour and it was even better this time around. I took my 15 year old along this time and she loved all the horrible details provided. Highly recommend

Fun, interesting and a bit gruesome - Enjoyed a great night out with 4 friends, exploring our fantastic London (can't write 'City of'...take the tour, you'll understand 😀). We decided it would be nice to do something other than just meet in a pub for once and we weren't disappointed. Great host in Maggie (and her friend), great clear voice, definitely knows her stuff and dates! Fun, informative, grizzly. Not quite what we were expecting (thought horror would be ghosts or crime) but we weren't disappointed, it was still factual and gruesome, lol. An interesting night out...wear comfy shoes, arrive early if you want a drink 1st and avoid if you can't stand for long periods, (or take a folding seat😂)

Immersive (and slightly gruesome) tour - Great itinerary and very engaging tour guide and performer. My 13 year old loved it although some of the descriptions are not for the faint of heart

Disappointing - Very disappointing. We were expecting a tour full of interest but instead it was quite dragged out and lack lustre. We lasted half an hour before we became too bored and left. This is a lot of money to pay for not a lot. Best avoid.
