Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world.
It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King.
Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George’s Chapel. The Castle’s State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle’s royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV.
Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.

- Please note: Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays . St. George’s Chapel is open for visitors on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays (and closed Sundays).
- As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice

A fantastic day in the English countryside - My wife and I were in London with another couple in July. The only organized tour we planned as a group was for Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. Our tour guide Jes was wonderful. Very engaging, entertaining and knowledgeable. His instructions on how to navigate the attractions and how / when to get back to the bus were clear and easy to remember. I would highly recommend Jes as your excursion guide.

A full day that flew by with lots of learning - I learned so much! The tour guide Jes was entertaining and engaging but also gave space. Very comfortable bus ride. I highly recommend it.

Windsor, Stonehenge & Bath - Our tour guide Jes was great. He kept the bus engaged and informed. He was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
The tour itself was quick. We were given at least 1.5 hours per site. I would personally like to visit Stonehenge and Bath again at my own time and pace. Overall, it was a great experience!

Awesome day seeing Windsor, Bath & Stonehenge - The tours was awesome, good amount of time at each spot, well organised. Aaron is a great storyteller, and made driving time and queue times barely noticeable. Bill was a great driver, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend if you only have a day to see these 3 places!

Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath - We had a great time visiting Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath. Ivo was a great tour guide who was knowledgeable and approachable. Be prepared to wait in line at Windsor... I'd equate it to Disney on a holiday weekend. Unfortunately, we had to race through the rooms. This was not the company's fault, just the nature of visiting 3 places farther out from London. We had the perfect amount of time to enjoy both Stonehenge and Bath. The ride back was a little over 2 hours, but we were happy to have fit in so much in a day.

A fun English trip - It was really super fun a lot of gezi EN and DE tour leader was also really nice.
Only I'd like it a little more if we could get a little more time at winsdor castle. But for DE rest top!!!

Beautiful alternating day - Nice alternating day trip. Nice guide (Ivo) who is enthusiastic about DE EN and can tell the present. Unfortunately DE time on DE first stop (Windsor Castle) was too short due to DE long queue.
