Must Do in London - One of the best guided day tours I’ve ever had. Our guide Pauly was very knowledgeable and humorous. Our driver Armando was also very personable and ensured we had a safe and great journey on the road.

Amazing Stonehenge Tour - This tour was wonderful. It started in Windsor, and we had an open top bus tour planned, but unfortunately the president of France decided to make his state visit there that day, so the bus was cancelled. Our tour guide made the most of it though and did a mini walking tour pointing out a few things and where to eat. The absolute best part though was being able to go into the inner circle at Stonehenge. It was amazing. It was after the main visitors were gone, so our small group had the whole site to ourselves. We were able to get pictures with no one at the stones, then we had a very decent amount of time to go into the stone circle. It is worth the extra cost to go into the circle rather than just see them from the outer path. Our tour guide Pauly and driver Reggie were amazing. Pauly was clearly very knowledgeable and fun to listen to. The driver was able to navigate around an accident between Windsor and Stonehenge so it didn't cost us too much time. I highly recommend this tour.

Stonehenge worth it - Stonehenge was completely worth it all. We chose wrong at Windsor and did the bus tour of the village which I do not recommend. Robotic, and you barely saw anything as they cruised by it fast and really told us very little. I couldn’t wait to get off. It was horrible, I wouldn’t even do it if it was free. Tour guide (Ralphy) and driver (John) were great! I will say the tour company never responded to two messages ahead of time so don’t expect much until you show up. I’m giving the full stars to the tour guide, driver and Stonehenge experience but Windsor open bus tour would get a 0 and the tour company itself would get a 3.

Stonehenge Inner Circle after the public with a stop in Windsor - We took a private tour to Windsor and Stonehenge Inner Circle after the public with about four others and our amazing guide Armando. Everything went as planned. Armando is so knowledgeable- and personable. He made our trip all that much more. I highly recommend this tour.

Nice experience - Bruce and Mario (driver) were a very nice companion. Bruce gave lots of information and he has a good sense of humor. They were very helpful all the time, would definitely recommend having the tour. Lots of useful infornation about Windsor Castle and Roman bath. Stonehenge will now blow your mind. There is no lunch and will be a long day, but you have stops to buy some pastry. Overall a good tour, would recommend especially if you get Bruce as tour guide, you will have a good time.

Stonehenge from the Inside- the Only Proper Way! - Windsor was a nice stop. You have options as to how you spend your time which was good. Stonehenge is the crown jewel of the tour. Can’t imagine how disappointing it would be to only see Stonehenge from the outside looking in. Spend a little extra and do it the proper way! The tour company guide was much more knowledgeable than the English Heritage guide.

Go with Golden directly and skip Viator - Please be cautious when booking with Viator. We originally had a tour booked with another company (Evans & Evans) but canceled it because Viator’s listing specifically advertised an open-top bus experience. That feature was the deciding factor for us, so we were willing to pay significantly more—nearly $1,000 total—for what we believed would be a more premium tour. When we arrived, we discovered that the tour was actually being run by Golden Tours. We were the only passengers who had booked through Viator, and we quickly learned that the open-top bus experience we had been promised was not available. Golden Tours acknowledged this and informed their customers that they would be issuing a partial refund. However, we were told that because we had booked through Viator, any refund would have to come from them directly. I waited a few days, then contacted Viator to follow up. I was polite, simply asking what type of refund we might expect given that the key part of the tour—the open bus—was not delivered. I was informed that the matter had been reviewed by a supervisor, and no refund would be issued at all. Not even a partial refund. This is unacceptable. Viator did not deliver the service they advertised, yet they have refused to offer any compensation. Meanwhile, other customers on the exact same tour, who paid less than we did, received partial refunds from Golden Tours. We, who paid more, got less—and then were told to accept it. I understand that things happen—weather changes, routes get altered—but when a tour company knowingly sells a product that doesn’t match the experience delivered and then refuses to make it right, that crosses a line. At this point, I feel that Viator has grown too large to prioritize individual customer service. When a company reaches that size, it often begins to rely on volume over integrity—and that’s exactly how this experience felt. Dismissive, impersonal, and disappointing. My advice? Skip Viator altogether. Book directly with Golden Tours, Evans & Evans, or any provider that stands by their word and treats customers with fairness and transparency. Travel should be about trust. In this case, that trust was broken.
