Full day tour 10/10 - All very well: organization, comfort and punctuality. But the best part: the very friendly guide (Oscar) with very clear explanations.

Pauly & Armando did better. - It was a great experience, from guide Pauly to putting together the driver. Both super attentive to everyone, I was lucky enough to find that great duo. The place has no words to be described, a great experience, has to be done.

Kudos Golden Tours for being able to run this exclusive tour - This was by far one of the best, unique, and enjoyable experience I’ve ever had. Being able to actually stand inside the stones was surreal. Our guide Pauly was incredibly knowledgeable and really enhanced the entire experience!!! I feel grateful for this expetience.

Very efficient and enjoyable option to enjoy both sites - We really liked the experience. Its very well organized from the pick up space been clearly recognizable through comfortable coach, complementary snacks and water through the day. Very knowledgeable guide (we had Polly), free time in Windsor, guide through the Stonehenge and back to London.

Must Do in London - One of the best guided day tours I’ve ever had. Our guide Pauly was very knowledgeable and humorous. Our driver Armando was also very personable and ensured we had a safe and great journey on the road.

Amazing Stonehenge Tour - This tour was wonderful. It started in Windsor, and we had an open top bus tour planned, but unfortunately the president of France decided to make his state visit there that day, so the bus was cancelled. Our tour guide made the most of it though and did a mini walking tour pointing out a few things and where to eat. The absolute best part though was being able to go into the inner circle at Stonehenge. It was amazing. It was after the main visitors were gone, so our small group had the whole site to ourselves. We were able to get pictures with no one at the stones, then we had a very decent amount of time to go into the stone circle. It is worth the extra cost to go into the circle rather than just see them from the outer path. Our tour guide Pauly and driver Reggie were amazing. Pauly was clearly very knowledgeable and fun to listen to. The driver was able to navigate around an accident between Windsor and Stonehenge so it didn't cost us too much time. I highly recommend this tour.

Go with Golden directly and skip Viator - Please be cautious when booking with Viator. We originally had a tour booked with another company (Evans & Evans) but canceled it because Viator’s listing specifically advertised an open-top bus experience. That feature was the deciding factor for us, so we were willing to pay significantly more—nearly $1,000 total—for what we believed would be a more premium tour. When we arrived, we discovered that the tour was actually being run by Golden Tours. We were the only passengers who had booked through Viator, and we quickly learned that the open-top bus experience we had been promised was not available. Golden Tours acknowledged this and informed their customers that they would be issuing a partial refund. However, we were told that because we had booked through Viator, any refund would have to come from them directly. I waited a few days, then contacted Viator to follow up. I was polite, simply asking what type of refund we might expect given that the key part of the tour—the open bus—was not delivered. I was informed that the matter had been reviewed by a supervisor, and no refund would be issued at all. Not even a partial refund. This is unacceptable. Viator did not deliver the service they advertised, yet they have refused to offer any compensation. Meanwhile, other customers on the exact same tour, who paid less than we did, received partial refunds from Golden Tours. We, who paid more, got less—and then were told to accept it. I understand that things happen—weather changes, routes get altered—but when a tour company knowingly sells a product that doesn’t match the experience delivered and then refuses to make it right, that crosses a line. At this point, I feel that Viator has grown too large to prioritize individual customer service. When a company reaches that size, it often begins to rely on volume over integrity—and that’s exactly how this experience felt. Dismissive, impersonal, and disappointing. My advice? Skip Viator altogether. Book directly with Golden Tours, Evans & Evans, or any provider that stands by their word and treats customers with fairness and transparency. Travel should be about trust. In this case, that trust was broken.
