- Chalk Farm Underground - This self-guided walking tour game starts outside the Chalk Farm underground station. Once you are there, open the app and start the Headless Horseman walking tour game.
You have come to Chalk Farm to meet two people you’ve gotten to know through an online ghost hunter forum. They have invited you to join an investigation of the 200-year-old disappearance of Ichabod Crane. But, as you stand waiting, only one of your new friends show up outside the underground station…
- Primrose Hill - You and your companion head over to the building where Ichabod once lived, to see if you can find clues to his disappearance, and maybe find your friend.
You’ll walk through the quaint Primrose Hill area during the first half of the tour. Primrose Hill was established as a London suburb in the 1800’s and was eventually enveloped by the city as it expanded.
- Primrose Hill - You follow a lead from Ichabod’s journal and visit the beautiful Primrose Hill Park. While in the park, you examine some of Ichabod’s belongings.
If you want to, you can pause the tour here and go to the Primrose Hill Park lookout point, which has a nice view of the city.
- Regent’s Canal - You have met with a witness, who had a scary encounter with the Headless Horseman. She points you towards the towpath of the Regent’s Canal, which runs from from Primrose Hill to the Camden market. The towpath were used by horses in the 1700-1800’s, pulling boats loaded with cargo along the canal. There were also stables along the canal for horses that were used for work on the railway. You go down there to investigate some strange noises…
- Camden Locks Canalside - Walk across the Camden Lock bridge, right by the Camden market area. If you are lucky, you can spot a canal boat going through the manual lock as you walk across the bridge.
- The World’s End - Your friend is still missing, but you are desperately trying to find her. A passage of Ichabod’s journal leads to the haunted pub The World’s End. It is said that the pub is placed in the same location as where a woman who were accused of being a witch once lived. Supposedly, she still haunts the pub and the surrounding area.
- Trinity United Reformed Church - You reach the Trinity United Reformed church in Camden. This seems to be the last location where Ichabod was seen, and traces from your friend lead you here as well.
