- Burford - The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
- Bibury - The village of Bibury is often described as the ‘prettiest village in England’. It’s charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.
- Bourton-on-the-Water - Our lunch stop is the charming settlement of Bourton-on-the-Water. The town’s river setting has seen it become known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’.
- Stow-on-the-Wold - We’ll continue through the countryside to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest town in the Cotswolds that is a jumble of ancient inns & antique shops located around the bustling market square. This historic town was a place of inspiration for JRR Tolkien and is also where the last battle of the English Civil War took place in 1646.

Highly recommend! - We had an absolutely amazing time visiting the Cotswolds. The tour started and ended on time, and everything went per schedule. The villages we visited were drop-dead gorgeous, picturesque, and looked like they were straight out a fairy tale. It’s easy to lose track of time at these villages. The people we met at each village were so friendly and welcoming, and we grabbed some amazing antiques. Would recommend trying to do a walking lunch rather than a sit-in one so you have more time to explore.
Our driver and guide, Tony, made the experience even better. He was very entertaining and had a myriad of facts, jokes, interesting historical tidbits etc to share. He also gave us tips on the best spots for lunch and antique shopping. Would recommend trying to travel with Tony if possible.
We wish we would have had more time at each spot but it’s understandable that the time would be limited given the packed schedule.
Highly recommend that you book this tour, with Tony! :)

Claire was an excellent... - Claire was an excellent guide - provided good tips and fun facts about the area. The stops weren’t super long, but felt it was enough time to see the villages.

Fun trip, but - David was our guide and was very knowledgeable and entertaining. My only suggestion would be to spend less time at the first two stops (Burford and Bibury) as there wasn’t as much to see. We were more rushed at the second two (Stow on the Wold and Burton on the Water) and they were bigger and we would have liked a little more time at those. But overall, it was a very enjoyable trip.

Enjoyable Day - Had a lovely, full day adventure to four villages of the Cotswolds. Tony was a great guide and incredibly informative throughout the day. The bus was comfortable and on the smaller side so we could wind through the smaller roads of the countryside. My only suggestion would be to adjust the timing as to not conflict so much with rush hour, it was a nightmare both getting in and out of London, but that’s to no fault of the tour 😊

Cotswold Small Group - Tony was a great driver/guide. He gave us lots of information about the Cotswolds, but also about areas we traveled past. Tony sprinkled his narratives with humor and was very friendly. He was a careful driver who took a break from his narrative at dangerous intersections and busy highways so he could focus on driving safely. Thanks, Tony!

An incredible tour of the Cotswolds with Liam - This was a wonderful tour of the Cotswolds. Liam was incredible; full of energy and enthusiasm. He perfectly mixed information about the local history and fun facts throughout the journey even going so far as to play music which perfectly matched each stop/the theme at hand. The tour was perfectly timed with a diverse mix of villages visited. However, it was Liam himself who was the highlight. Such a wonderful tour and an incredible tour guide.

Lovely day with Tony! - Tony was a wonderful tour guide and driver. This tour was a great way to visit 4 towns in a day without having to do the driving yourself. Tony gave excellent recommendations of what to do in each town, and is a friendly and personable guide. Thanks, Tony!

Appropriate day trip to one of the most scenic English countrysides - We had a good time in this tour. Convenient pick-up and drop-off location. Our driver Ash was very friendly and shared lots of interested anecdotes about the places he took us to. We quite liked the small group size, as this allowed us to travel through narrow rural roads, giving us a closer experience with the English countryside. I would suggest that the tour be limited to visits to three instead of four sites, allowing people more time to enjoy each particular site.
