- Burford - The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
- Bibury - The village of Bibury is often described as the ‘prettiest village in England’. It’s charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.
- Bourton-on-the-Water - Our lunch stop is the charming settlement of Bourton-on-the-Water. The town’s river setting has seen it become known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’.
- Stow-on-the-Wold - We’ll continue through the countryside to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest town in the Cotswolds that is a jumble of ancient inns & antique shops located around the bustling market square. This historic town was a place of inspiration for JRR Tolkien and is also where the last battle of the English Civil War took place in 1646.

A Perfect Day in the Cotswolds - The Cotswolds Tour today that we took with Tony was amazing. It was perfectly timed, had just the right amount of stops, and was so entertaining. Tony took the time to share personal stories since he grew up nearby. Having a local head up the tour added a personal dimension that truly enhanced it. I had to convince my adult daughter to take a chance on an organized tour since she likes to plan things herself. She said this tour made her want to do more tours! Way to go, Go Tours!

A great day in the Cotswolds - Rob was a fantastic driver and tour guide. Really enjoyed seeing the Cotswolds in a small group. This was a great tour and big shout out to rob he was fantastic !!

10/10 recommend this tour - Cannot recommend this tour enough, being a solo traveller was a little skeptical but absolutely loved this. Ash is an amazing host, very humorous and kept things interesting. Go for it!

Delightful day exploring Cotswolds - What a wonderful experience! James was an excellent and entertaining tour guide and driver, with just the right amount of narration, and a great and accurate description of what we could expect each step of the journey. The four villages are storybook lovely and this tour gave just the right amount of time at each stop, with sufficient time to see the village, shop or eat, as you chose. I liked that we were on our own at each stop, so we didn’t have to try to keep up with and keep track of a guide. James gave explicit details as we were arriving at each location about highlights, location of toilets, and dining recommendations. Everything ran precisely on time. I highly recommend this outstanding tour of the Cotswolds area. It’s well worth the cost! Note that public toilets in some villages are pay-to-go and you need coins to pay; 40 pence per person.

One of a kind place! - This area is fascinating to see. There is quite the history and the guide was very knowledgeable. The one thing they don’t put in Bold print is that you travel 2 hours to and from the city.

Excellent! - I had a great time on the trip. Rob our driver had us laughing in the bus and was very informative. It was such a good trip to get a snapshot of what the Cotswolds have to offer.

Go Tours makes it magical - It’s one the best day trips we have taken …great luxury small coach very comfortable..very well maintained .. and our driver but I would call him our Captian - MR LIAM ..was a great man .. he was not only very informative about the tour and the history of the places on the tour but also been a traveller in his younger years ..he was funny yet very knowledgeable..I would highly recommend that once’s in your life do this day trip ..the place is magical and go tours makes sure that you feel that magic .

Cotswolds with Ash a good time - Covers a lot of territory and we got to see four villages. Bus was comfortable and Ash the best guide and knew his way around London and the Cottswolds.

I left my heart in the Cotswolds - This trip itself is was fabulous. Our guide was Liam, knowledgeable with a fun sense of humor.he took a few detours to show us some hidden gems with his research about them to add. Everything went as planned. It satisfied a lifelong dream.. The Cotswolds are from another time❤️
