Fantastic - brilliant tour guide. - Absolutely fantastic, fast track tickets meant we avoided the queues. Our guide Aaron was excellent, he arrived 5 mins early and immediately put us at ease with his cheerful manner and we knew we were in good hands. He is an actual real life palaeontologist, (very handy when looking at dinosaurs) but his expertise extends further than "just" dinosaurs. His passion and knowledge, not only of the exhibits but also the museum itself was infectious. This is not the usual point and tell tour. Aaron answered our million questions patiently and with a great sense of humour and we learnt a lot. We both highly recommend this tour and having Aaron as our guide made it worth every penny.

Unavoidable - The place is sublime, the worlds are diverse and very interesting! Allow a good half day to visit all the sectors. Especially since all museums are free in London, remember to register in advance to save time in lines!

The natural History Museum of London - The firs greta museum of natural history and still fantastic to visit. Free but it can be a delay to get in particularly in summer. In winter, when were there it was a walk straight in. What a collection in what a building. Inspiration and a tribute to the man behind it all. Great for the kids.

Don't miss this museum! - I recently spent my second day looking around this museum, and still haven't seen half the exhibits here. Unless you want to do nothing more than look at your surroundings and quickly move on, you need to be able to devote plenty of time if you find this place interesting, and it's difficult to see how anyone could fail to. There is something that will appeal to everyone and all age groups, particularly the interactive sections. There is a dinosaur exhibition that includes an enormous moving, roaring T-Rex. It's a magnificent spectacle that's bound to thrill and frighten. The environment is comfortable in terms of temperature, and it's appropriately lit depending on what the visitor is looking at. There are places to eat and drink and museum shops selling a variety of things, models, jewellery, postcards and books, etc. The staff are courteous and helpful and the entrance is free but visitors are able to make a donation of whatever amount they choose near the door.

Rock and minerals - The museum was so crowded that you could not get close enough to the exhibits to read especially around the dinosaurs. The only area you could enjoy was the rock and minerals
