Amazing private tour of the English Countryside - Our day trip with Brian to Stonehenge, Windsor, and Salisbury was absolutely fantastic! He picked us up promptly and we headed directly out of town. David lent us great suggestions while also catering the tour to us. He advised us on exactly where to go and how to get around at each location. The conversation with him regarding England and the UK was engaging and informative. We even stopped at a little diner off the beaten path for lunch that you would never find on large group tour. It was a day my family and I will remember forever and I highly recommend to anyone considering booking it

Cotswold small villages - Darius was an outstanding driver and experienced tour guide! We modified our trip right away exploring different beautiful small villages exactly what we were looking for. We have been to London a few times but this was an awesome experience!

Great Day! - We highly recommend Christopher if you want a top-notch tour in or around London! He was prompt and friendly when greeting us for our full-day's outing to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath. He curated the tour to include the little extras that elevate a good tour to a great one! He kept us on time throughout the day without being rushed, all the while offering interesting stories and fun facts about the sights. We appreciated his warm personality, witty sense of humor, and extensive subject matter knowledge. The day was a definite highlight of our trip, thanks to Christopher!

Tour of Windsor Castle, Lacock/Castle Combe, and Bath. - We asked to replace Stonehenge with a country village, as we thought we would find Stonehenge underwhelming. David was flexible and communicated with us as we finalized plans. He offered stops in Lacock and castle Combe. Both villages were beautiful and a pleasure to tour
Our tour guide, Darius, was fun and knowledgeable. While he remained professional, he spoke openly about his experiences in London and surrounding areas, and he enjoyed jokes with our family throughout the day. We appreciated his suggestions and advice for touring the chosen sites and it was clear that he was genuinely interested in making sure we made the most of our tour. Darius was excellent.
I should also mention that we used David’s company (London Country Tours) for our transfer from the airport to Pimlico and that was a smooth, complication-free experience as well.

- We booked a customized 2-day tour with London Country tours. We had limited time and asked to pack a lot in, in the two days. David gave us a schedule and told us the times for which we needed to purchase admission tickets for the various sites we wanted to visit. He picked us up at our hotel in London and drove us to Windsor Castle, StoneHenge, and the Roman Baths. We stayed overnight in Bath. The following day Dave took us through the Cotswolds. We stopped in various towns. Dave gave us great suggestions for restaurants in which to eat over the 2 days and was very knowledgeable. He was able to answer any questions we have as we drove. We would highly recommend London country tours.

Fantastic! We saw it all!! - Our tour was with Eddie and he was fantastic! We had to leave our hotel at 4:30 am to make the early tour of Stonehenge where you can walk through the stones. He was on-time, very pleasant and was ready to help at any turn. We were also scheduled to see Bath and Windsor Castle, and he made extra stops for us at the Cotswolds and Aviemore stone circles. We saw so much in one day! It was a fantastic experience. He helped to explain everything on the way and gave us extra tips on where to go for our remaining time in London.

Eddie from London Country Tours is the BEST! - My family and I spent a day with Eddie as we toured Windsor Castles, Stonehenge and Bath. Thanks to Eddie, this was a highlight of our trip to England. He is a fabulous tour guide. He efficiently (and magically) got us to each destination right on time and even managed to squeeze in a few surprises along the way. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. He also was kind enough to give us suggestions for the rest of our trip. When you book a tour with London Country Tours, you must request Eddie!

Great tour for families! - Great way to explore outside of London and see some major sights. Christopher was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide for our family of 4 (with two adults and 2 kids ages 3 and 5). If you have small kids, group tours are hard so we typically do private tours so we can go at our own pace. We had a great tour of Windsor castle and then went to Stonehenge. The weather was cold/rainy but we got to see a lot and had a lovely lunch at a local pub afterwards. We opted to skip the Roman Baths because it would have made for a long day for the kids but it was nice to get back to London a bit earlier and in time for dinner. Chris gave us some great history and background of what we were seeing and was really kind and patient with our kiddos. Would highly recommend this tour for families and specifically Chris as a guide.

Terrible experience with a reckless driver - This was one of the most disappointing private guided tours I booked using Trip Advisor. Here are the details:
Guidance from David was really good- he asked us to book Windsor Castle tickets at 9:30, Stonehenge at 1 pm and Bath at 4 pm. Well timed slots and good planning- that's why I'm giving 2 stars.
Problem was with our driver Dariusz. Overall he was reckless and unsafe driver.
1. First of all, he didn't read all the instructions and details and WhatsApp messages. He was waiting for us at the wrong hotel. Luckily, our hotel was close by and hence we didn't loose any time.
2. He didn't seem to enjoy this itinerary. He kept whining all-day that combination of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath in one day was a bad idea. If that is the case, then why offer this tour? Perhaps Daruisz should not be added to such itinerary? Even though we stuck to the schedule and returned back before the allotted maximum time, he kept reminding us about the time limits in a rude way. While we understand that he was trying to do his job, it gets annoying when adults are treated like children, who need to be disciplined.
3. He clearly set expectations that we could only grab lunch to go, specifically at the Stonehenge Cafe. This was a terrible idea. The cafe at Stonehenge didn't have good vegetarian options. Even the ones they offered tasted really bad (barely edible- who would put lots of sugar into a hummus-vegetable wrap!). For future, please plan on packing lunch from London or at the cafe in Windsor Castle (much better and tastier options).
4. We reached Bath at 3:10 PM, which was 50 minutes ahead of schedule. There was a beautiful Christmas Market going on at Bath, right out side the Roman Baths. However, Dariusz made it very clear to us that "you shall not visit the Christmas Market!". We actually managed to complete the tour of the Roman Bath and spent 10 minutes or so at the Christmas Market and still got back to the van by 4:15 pm, which was still ahead of schedule to depart from Bath.
5. The most concerning aspect of this trip was Dariusz's reckless driving. He had absolutely no patience on the road. On highways, he was driving at 80-85 miles per hour when the speed limit was 60-65 mph. Even worse, he was dashing away at 30-40 mph on side streets of Bath where the speed limits were 10-20 mph. He almost ran over 3 people in Bath (an old women, a dad with a small baby and another couple on bicycle). He constantly honked at cars, cut through turns and intersections, leading to angry outbursts from other car drivers. During the last leg of the journey from Bath to London via Redding, we hung on to our dear life while Darius zipped and weaved rapidly through the roads and traffic. He knew we were not happy with his driving and defended himself at the end by saying "This is how we have to drive in London to survive".
Overall, it was not a good experience. Please consider properly training your drivers and reconfigure your itinerary if needed.
