Enjoyable visit, kids loved it ! - Super easy to book online with lots of availability, my teenage daughter had been desperate to go so we went with friends and their daughter the girls have a lovely time getting loads of pics and then onto the spirit of London ride and then the 4d cinema which was good fun. Lots of variety of waxworks to see amazing details although the David Beckham one is very out of date and doesn’t look much like him. Conveniently placed toilets and drinks stops. The only thing I would say is it is very busy so often had to wait to get pics or see waxworks up close and too many people too worried about getting the right pictures for social media pushing people out the way not waiting their turn women’s screaming at their very young children to stay still for the photo felt quite stressful at some points. The chamber of horrors was really good and included in the price there is also a shortcut if you want to avoid this bit. Overall the kids enjoyed it and that was the main reason to go. Very easy to get to Baker Street station is a two minute walk away, not much else in the area.

Fun indulgence and better than expected - My wife and I went to Madame Tussauds recently on Saturday in July. We live in London for few years for work assignment and decided to check out Madame Tussauds. We splurged and went for fast track entry and glass of champagne before entering. Treat yourself and worth it. The museum is laid out great with different rooms based on theme. I was surprised you can go right up to the displays and take pictures. The ride in the London taxis was very cool. Fun way to spend some time and seeing something very historical.

Way too crowded, not a good experience. - We visited yesterday and was so disappointed with the sheer volume of people they allow in at one time. It was so over crowded and overwhelming. People shoving and pushing trying to get photos of the wax figures. We didn’t get chance to see all of them because it was impossible to get to them. The ones we did manage to get up close to were very good but the whole experience was spoilt by the crushing and over powering volume of people. I went with my older children and I would in no way recommend taking young children as it wouldn’t feel a safe environment. I was so disappointed and it is such a shame as I remember visiting some years and the experience was totally different.

A Madhouse of Screaming Teenagers - Don't go on a rainy day. Expect to be surrounded by running hordes of teenage tourist groups. The day I was there, I identified teenage groups from Italy, Japan, and America. They will run you over, shout in your face as they scream to each other across the room, push little kids out of the way, and just in general be rude teenagers. I was there for one purpose - to take pictures with Princess Diana and the Royal Family. I also liked the RuPaul wax figure. So I was definitely not in the right age group to be in this madness. I found myself grumpy and jostled. On a positive note, each Madame Tussaud's is very different. Compared to the Myrtle Beach SC and the Nashville TN ones, the London one has way fewer wax figures, but includes an actual slow-moving ride (think Haunted Mansion Disneyworld) and a Marvel Super Heroes 3D movie theater.

Just loud, noisy - horrible experience - Been to Madame T many years ago - since then some conceptual changes have completely destroyed what it once was: focus on artistic performance of creating similarities… now you are shuffled around like a flock of sheep, accompanied by too loud background music/noise (already noisy, why add another layer)… Pointless attractions on the way.. ( I can give you that the 4xd marvel was ok)… My absolute favourites off course is replicas of fictional characters - seriously not really world class to produce a doll of a stormtrooper or yoda… And finally - for this underwhelming we as a family of four paid a hefty sum of 126 pounds… Well - anyone who are thinking of going: see some by pictures online and take your money elsewhere…
