Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour, your guide will be holding a red bag or Devour Tours sign. This tour meets at 5, St. Andrew Street, London EC4A 3AF / The Gardens of St Andrews Church Holborn. Entrance via the gates on Holborn Viaduct (side of the church) or St Andrew’s St.

Terrific time sampling pub food and drink in historic London! - This was a great experience! We visited four different historic pubs in the oldest part of London. Our tour guide Becki was delightful, and took great care of us.
She shared interesting and informative stories as we walked between pubs that introduced us to the history and character of the neighborhood. I didn't expect to get such great stories and a sense of the role of the pub in London.
The food was traditional "pub snacks" and was tasty. It may vary but we had pork pie, fish and chips, whitetail, and as scotch eggs. They were paired with the beer at each stop (ales, stout, cider). One of us didn't drink, but still really enjoyed the experience.
We wanted to learn about British pubs and try something new. This tour with Becki was even better than we expected!

Enjoyed our tour! - This tour was very enjoyable and our tour guide Becki was terrific! The food and drinks we had at each stop were great. Becki had great history and information to share and walked us thru some interesting places between each pub stop. Definitely recommend!

Fun informative hidden pub gems - See a different side of London. Historical pubs with stories to tell about the characters of London past. Our tour guide, Shadow, was a wealth of information and created a fun atmosphere for all . We were a small group and got to know each other by the time we finished the tour. I'd highly recommend this tour to get a fell for old London. Beer and historical pub grub at each stop.

Cannot recommend more highly - Absolutely a highlight of our trip. Pete made us feel like we were old friends that he was showing around town. We saw corners of (and heard stories of) London we could not have possibly found on our own…Pete went well above and beyond…and while we may not cross paths again…we’ll always remember him…do yourself a favor, take his tour…

Great Fun Touring Four Historic Pubs - Loved this tour with Sophie -- a great mix of history and food and drink. We had a perfect sized group -- small enough to chat together. Very fun to hear all the stories of the pubs and get some background on the drinks and snacks served. Sophie had lots of knowledge and a lovely way of bringing everyone together. Definitely recommend, especially at the beginning of your stay in London, as the tour gives you an idea of places to re-visit.

One tasty tour! - This was one of my favorite things we did in London. It truly felt like we were stepping back in time in each of the pubs we visited, Susannah was a fantastic guide ensuring we were learning things as we went along. The food and drinks served were also outstanding. We will do this same exact tour again next time we’re here.

Good selection of pubs... - Good selection of pubs and saw a few sights along the way. Pub food was all served freshly cooked and hot. The history was okay, but I’ve been on pub tours that were more fun and had more interesting and humorous historical facts
