Mike excellent tour guide - Mike the tour guide was excellent. He was funny, engaging and much more interesting than the recorded audio. So glad they switched drivers and Mike came on board to navigate.

Great tour with a great guide! - Our live tour guide, Emma, was so knowledgeable, friendly and funny, she MADE the experience for us! Her interesting historical information and personal attention got even our teen boys to pay attention. So much better than a recorded audio guide!

Find out when Emma is working and get on her bus! Sundays are best (not much traffic) and Emma works Sundays. - Our open top bus tour guide, Emma is a London treasure and Golden Tours is very fortunate to have her in their employ.
She’s whip smart and knows the city of London like the back of her hand. She has a wicked sense of humor and was one of the kindest people we’ve ever met.
Our tour was perfect in every way - all thanks to Emma. I hope GT pays her above and beyond what she’s worth. Emma, we loved you and wish you all the best!

Take the solution Hop on hop off - The option of a two-hour non-stop tour is not recommended. Traffic in London is very slow and you pass through narrow streets where there is often nothing to see. At the starting point of Belvedere road there was no leaflet explaining the route.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They're lazy and unprofessional. It was my Fiancées first time in London and I wanted to give her a great tour. We booked tickets for the Open top london bus tour with live guide. When we got to the meeting spot, a rude worker who didn't listen to me or even look at my ticket ushered us on the wrong bus- When I enquired and said no, our tour isn't a hop on/hop off bus and he straight up lied and said its the right bus an that just my ticket wasn't hop on hop off when it made it clear in the description of the trip was NOT A HOP ON HOP OFF SERVICE and ended up being deserted in a random part of london. Customer service offered me another trip to compensate- Why? We've already seen everything now and straight up REFUSED to give me any refund and just ignored any further email. Absolutely disgusting service and terrible quality trip. Go with different company, this one is a SCAM

Questionable Comany!!!! - This company seems to be systematically ripping off customers! I was on another trip to London with my father when we decided to take a bus tour. The website advertises fair prices of £26.40. This is just a scam, because the ticket inspector we were supposed to buy our ticket from charged us £92 without informing us; he quoted us a price of £52. This turned out to be a lie. When we tried to talk to another ticket inspector about it, we were called “wankers” and insulted. We are still waiting for our money! NOT RECOMMENDED! This company seems to rip off its customers!!! They take money out of your pockets! Companies like Big Bus and Citysightseeing are much better and cheaper at the promised price level! Never again!

The audio guide sucks! - Our English being approximate, I chose this walk thinking that the audio guide would do the trick...
By mistake, the English guide was speaking so loudly into his microphone that we could hardly hear anything in our headphones.
And in comparison the English guide really gave a lot more information along the way compared to our audio guide.
Next time, I will take a real French guide rather than the audio guide.
