• Parliament Square - Begin your day at Parliament Square, close to Westminster Abbey. Enjoy views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, and encounter the intriguing statues of notable figures as you head towards the church.
• Westminster Abbey - Enter the Abbey as it opens to see the Coronation Chair before it gets crowded. Discover the history of England’s most significant church and explore the burial sites of numerous monarchs and famous individuals, including kings, queens, writers, and scientists. Please Note: Only the 9AM tour offers skip-the-line entry and a guided tour of Westminster Abbey. The 10AM tour provides an exterior introduction by your guide.
• Buckingham Palace - A short walk from the Abbey takes you to Buckingham Palace, where you can witness the Changing of the Guard if it occurs on your tour day. Your guide will lead you to an excellent alternative spot to view this historic event as crowds gather.
• Horse Guards Parade at Whitehall - Visit the Horse Guards Parade, home to the impressive King’s Life Guard, on your way to Trafalgar Square.
• Trafalgar Square - Pause for lunch at London’s bustling square. Before your break, your guide will explain why this is the heart of London and highlight some key locations, including a small piece of American soil!
• Thames River - After lunch, regroup for a Thames sightseeing cruise featuring lively commentary from the crew. This enjoyable and relaxing journey leads to your final destination of the day.
• Tower of London - The last stop is the Tower of London, a highlight of the tour. With pre-booked tickets, you’ll enter swiftly to explore its captivating (and sometimes grim) history. The full-day London tour concludes at the Jewel House inside the Tower. Although your guide cannot join you to see the Crown Jewels, they will provide insights on the key pieces and their importance so you can explore independently.

• This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
• Please Note: The 10 AM tour does not include entry to the Abbey. Instead, your guide will provide an introduction to the Abbey from the exterior.
• The Changing of the Guard ceremony is dependent on good weather and does not take place every day. Should the ceremony take place during your tour, we will view it. On alternative days, we will view the Queen’s Life Guard Change/Horse Guards Parade. Guard Change does not happen on Tuesdays.
